Hi! I'm in total agreement with a trip to the vet. This way they can diagnose if it is an infection or fluid in the middle or inner ear, etc. You may also need drops / antibiotics. PLEASE keep us posted and hope all is a QUICK and EASY fix! XOXO, Jojo

I agree, vet is best, it could be an infection but you need to know the cause, not just treat the symptom. It could be a piece of cheat grass which can be very painful, it could be an allergy that makes your puppy susceptible to infections....
You can talk to God all you want and that's great, but the changes happen when you start listening to him.
I have had my dog do the shaking of the head thing too and I had to take him to the vet to get drops to put in. I would highly recommend taking your pet to the vet. It isn't something you will be able to solve by yourself and your pup is having discomfort. Further, if left unattended, it may lead to worse problems.
Everyone here can offer all kinds of possibilities, but the only good one is take the puppy to your vet for a proper diagnosis and treatment . There are lots of things that can go wrong in animals that can be misleading to the layman. When in doubt, ALWAYS check in with the vet!
We are presently in the midst of an ear problem here with one of ours which is apparently a repeat episode of one of what we jokingly term as another "Phoenix mystery ailment"... he has had lots of issues over the years, some for no visible rhyme nor reason.
Good luck with the pup!

A truly happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery on a detour.

It is most likely a bacterial infection in the ear. Take you pet to your vet. They will do a quick cytology to tell you what is going on and give your the correct medicated ear drops. Good luck! Go soon so you poor little one can get some relief and it won't progress to a more complicated situation.
