Welcome. As another yo-yo type, I too share your frustrations and wish you luck. We are here for the support!
SEP12: Rock N Roll HM: 3:04:04
it is never to late to start.
my sister lost 105 pounds at age 63 walking 15000 steps a day.
i have lost 44 pounds by giving up grain and sugar products at age 60..
i walk 15000 steps a day.
i use a salad plate as my dinner plate.
i keep mandrtan oranges in the fridge. when the sweet tooth comes on i grab one or two tablespoons of the fruit.
Hi Sally! I am back too after a re-gain. I also yo-yo, sadly. Wish you luck and if you need support, message me, I am in it alone pretty much, Very hard to diet living in Wisconsin! With all our Cheese! LOL
Hi there, I can't wait to see you around and active here!
Read your SpPage, and totally identified with yo=yo dieting, stress eating etc. Just want to say we're all here for each other --- and I admire your tenacity - to stick to your goals no matter what!
I love your Princess; she's beautiful. A testament to her mom.
Since you are an obedience expert.....how do I get a stubborn (but utterly lovealble) 11 year old doxie rescue to 'come' and 'sit'. I adopted her when she was 7 -- and spoil her to death.... I'm not good a discipline......she runs the place ---- but her needs are simple, so it's a good fit. She is utterly loyal and loving.
But I'd love her to come and sit on command!!
Anyway --- nice to know you and Go Girl!! with your January goals!!
"Finish each day, and be done with it.
You have done what you could.
Some blunders and absurdities have crept in.
Forget them as soon as you can."
Happy is the day I'm pain-free
.... out of her cocoon .. ?
Tomorrow starts another year of Social butterfly .. My goal for 2013 is, if I have to, to schedule ME time each day .. no matter what the quiet time consists of ..
I volunteer at a dog training club, and on Monday nights; assist in the public classes .. It's fun, but sometimes it just get overwhelming .. because it starts to feel like a job .. Hey -- I'm being honest .. MOST time however .. it's a great stress release, and I have an awesome time .. between the others that are working the particular session, and THE DOGS .. of course .. I love all the dogs .. and I'm the perfect distraction for most of them .. :)
We work with puppies from 12 weeks of age .. and I think our oldest dog was 10 years old .. :) Imagine .. 40-60 dogs in the building at one time at some sessions .. :) DOG HEAVEN !!!!!! That is my Monday night Stress reduction for the week .. :) LOVE IT!!!!!
Wish everyone an absolutely awesome week .. I'm going to have one !!! :D

Handle every stressful situation like a dog.
If you can't eat it or play with it,
pee on it and walk away.
