Not our Collie girls usually, Jules . They don't give an inch, especially if they can pin the blame on some dumb boy.....
Our Brandy had a double jointed middle toe that she could stick straight up in the air, with the best of them.... and a toe on the other foot that she could spin over the up in the air toe, saying "Rotate".... Arwen does get slightly upset if you raise you voice, but other than that she mostly just gives you her beautifully perfected "Stink Eye" look........... She knows that humans are only good for 3 things - food of any kind, car rides, and bum rubs.

My dogs do the same with the water squirt gun, you'd swear I drenched them daily!!!
I've found that females tend to "cower", they look like you've kicked them around the house when you've done absolutely nothing

LOL When I get the yard stick or the flyswatter out, Sundance crouches and crawls away. Anyone watching would swear I either hit or threatened him with them. It never happened. I have had him since he was 9.5 weeks old I can't imagine it happened to him before either.
The tape is cute but it doesn't really prove guilt. Sometimes we don't know why a dog reacts in a certain way. Wliberty

My first Collie used to just look you square in the eye, and then go bump one of the others with his head, as if to reassure us as to just who the culprit really was - and he never did it to the same dog twice in a row...
It's made me smile remembering that about him, so an extra THANKS for the fun memory! LOL
