Darlene! we don't have a land line and we live in a dead zone, so they have to convey messages through the internet and the guy's pager (which proved useless)
I'm so frustrated I could spit nails.

Gee, can't they call and let you know they can't find your place? Ask you for directions? Seems peope are so unreliable anymore.

I should talk. Cassie doesn't get many walks, but this week I have been taking her every day but today. Today I was so sleepy I was falling asleep waiting for a friend to get here, then went to the library and when I came home the rain threat was really there (didn't come, though). I also went to the gym after the library. Now I am ready to fall asleep again. Will have to make a real big effort to get that walk in tomorrow.

While waiting for the internet guy to show up, I actually went outside, grabbed a hoe and started attacking weeds. The guy never showed, again, but I did 20 minutes of digging. Luckily, Brie was keeping an eye on me and stopped me before I over exherted myself and got dehydrated. Our address does not show up on the map data base which they use. But we contacted the company today and we agreed to meet the technician at May's Cafe 5 miles from home, and we will guide him to our place.

ALWAYS BRUSH AND FLOSS! That toothache turned out to need a root canal. I was admitted to the dentist's office on a moments notice. X-rays revealed several cavities, tartar build-up and resultant bone loss in several places in my jaw. Three years ago I had a similar visit and had two molars extracted from the left side of my mouth. That was the only affordable option at the time. This time, though, we qualified for a dental credit card plan. So I was able to opt for the root canal. which, although is unpleasant, "saved" the tooth. I had started to use careful dental hygiene practices, but things went awry. That was also the time I stopped using Spark People. Lack of discipline resulted in regaining some weight and ruining my teeth. I hope I can stop the bone loss before I lose all my teeth. This was a startling wake-up call.

BAD NIGHT - GREAT MORNING!
Monday, July 31, 2017
I hardly slept a wink for the muscle aches in my shoulders and my scalp. The meds that the doctor prescribed give me a hangover and dizziness, which is undesirable when climbing ladders and using power tools. So I haven't taken any this week. I'm going to get one of those tens units from the drug store. That should address the soreness instead of interrupting the pain signal.
We will get up on the roof later. The sun is already burning away our cloud cover. But the weather cast assures us it will be mostly overcast throughout the day. So we will be working in one or two hour stints.
And I can work on leather crafts in between tasks.
I weighed myself before breakfast. I lost another 4 pounds this week!

Shellie is snoring on the porch next to the screen door. It is much to early to sleep, most of my word puzzles have been completed. Planning our day around the afternoon storms. Construction will occur topside on the roof!

We were not able to swim because the lightning was too close, yesterday. But we had fun watching their horses play tag with their dogs. Dave cooked great rib eye steaks, served with broccoli and reisling wine. While eating, there was a rainstorm, followed by a rainbow. Then Dave let us shoot his crossbow. Me likes! We had a great visit.

That barbecue and swim sounds nice. So does a rain storm since all we have had is a few sprinkles. My grass is so dry I don't know if it will ever come back. Can't afford to water it and my hoses won't reach part of it.

We are back to hot today. I am hoping it cools of so that I can work with Cassie in the park. Meanwhile will do it in the Petsmart. 2nd filming is tomorrow evening and she still doesn't do her down all the time. Also, I forgot we were supposed to be working on attention, so haven't done that but a few times. She was really good at Home Depot and Lowes last night, though.

Yesterday's rainstorm prevented further work on the roof. However, I was able to stitch together the shoulders of the buckskin tunic. I need to make the head hole larger, so I have sliced down the front four inches. I will reinforce the throat area with a triagular piece. Meanwhile, there is a little hole on the back of the tunic. Need to add side panels beneath the arm to make it roomier to wear. No sweat, i can use the extra leather from the bottom.
I will have Brie help set up a photo shoot so that I can track my progress

A friend in El Paso has invited us for a barbeque and swim! See ya later!

That tunic by Jim WhiteHand is stunning. I like the way the sides are stitched together using the turquoise beads, I like the drape of the hide and the whip stitching around the collar. Brie chose a darker shade. I have stitched the holes. Brie thinks it looks rugged! I don't have to punch holes with an awl. So I can start stitching the tops of the shoulders tonight.

Cassie is working in a promotional video for a dog training place. First section tonight. There are 3 dogs in it. I didn't know if they could use a 9 year old dog that is basically untrained. I have done some work with her, but not consistent, so she only does things for food. Nice trainer that works similar to clicker, but no clickers used. She was doing something with leading the dogs with the treats to where they were in a heel position (can't remember what that was called, but maybe leading) which is like the "choose to heel" program. The trainer really likes Cassie and did Cassie's section of the video off lead. After she worked all three dogs in the video, she gave directions on what we are supposed to work on before the next video. It will be done in 3 or 4 parts. We got in on this because she had posted something about looking for dogs for the video. I think it will be fun and will motivate me to work with her a little more.

WALKING THE WEST TEXAS TOWN OF EL PASO
Friday, June 02, 2017

I spent 45 minutes this morning unloading our truck of monthly supplies, including four 5gallon water jugs, 35 pounds each. I put them in my little red wagon to cart them to the workshop at the back of the hangar. And I also carried in a 25 pound bag of laundry, clean and folded. Brie wanted to help, but I insisted on doing the lifting and bending to spare her back. Then we took off for El Paso once more for more supplies.
Last night's rain storm turned our dirt road into a mud bog. One lane was high and dry, which means we avoided all the box turtles who emerge after a storm to soak up enough muddy water to last the summer.
While in town we made several important phone calls and talked to our banker. I called the company who was going to send me a costume. It had to be special ordered. The company ended up with a costume which includes embroidered accents. They were going to send it back to their supplier, but they offered to send it to me for the same price as the plain one. I should have it by Wednesday!
We went to the hardware store. Brie drove one of those electric carts while I walked for 45 minutes. ( those clerks rarely know where items are located!) Her back is much better, but I am insisting that she avoid exerting herself. After shopping, we went to the Rod and Gun Club at Ft Bliss, and did some target shooting with my new .22 Henry rifle. That is fun! My aim is improving! We set the target at 20 yards.
I paced that distance after each ten shots to inspect and change the targets. So I got a little more walking done. We put fifty rounds into a three inch circle. I can hardly wait to show up to our July shooting match, costumed as a Mexican revolutionary, and pulling our gun carriage, which is shaping-up to resemble a stage coach.
The next few days will be stormy, so Brie and I will have to work indoors. We probably won't have our carriage ready by Sunday. So we will aim for July's meet. But y'all will get to see the costume and stage coach first!

(ooh pretty message, EDWARDS!

DROPPED MY DRAWERS!
Thursday, June 01, 2017

Well, almost, anyways! Brie needed me to run to the truck to fetch a particular piece of paper. I had to hold up my britches with one hand as I hurried along. That piece of paper bears the PIN number for our new credit card. Long story short; our credit has improved, jumped 30 points after Brie made her first payment) The immediate result is that we each bought ourselves two new pairs of shorts for the summer, and two new belts. (I was tempted to buy red suspenders, but I am holding out for rainbow stripes!)
I got the laundry done, so we have the shorts that we wore last summer, which now fit us once again. We met an old friend, in fact, our Best Man from our wedding ceremony 7 years ago. He was full of news and perhaps new opportunities for the future. More details will be revealed in a few days.
As we drove from El Paso, we could see a wall of black clouds and lightning over the hills in the distance. As we got closer to home, we could see rain puddles all around. The ruts in our dirt road were filled with water, reflecting the silvery sky. We stopped to visit our neighbors, half mile north of our house. Their power was out once again. We had just missed a hellacious storm which had dumped hail stones until the ground was white! Timing is everything! Our solar panels got a full charge from the sun and lightning, so we can use the internet all night!

Brie has a congenital back condition that has really been more bothersome and painful to her lately. Her spinal column is too narrow for her spinal cord, and she cannot turn and twist and bend like she used to. Getting out of bed is a painful experience.
But she hasn't let that stop her from doing things. I set up a folding chair, outside under the hangar's edge and we continued working on the frame for the gun carriage. Then she decided we should move the target stand off the trailer, so that she can take the motorcycle on it, to get inspected. The target stand is rather light weight. She described HOW she was going to move, and we went about it VERY CAREFULLY. We both agreed that the 80 pound target could stay flat in the trailer!

I hope your doggie's paw heals up nicely.

Shellie gave me a scare the other day. It appears she got into the trash and ate some chicken bones. The next day, she would not get up, not even for Beggin' Strips. We had to leave for an appointment. Brie says that she had greeted her well, and wagging her tail, a few minutes earlier. When we got home, she seemed well but wouldn't eat Beggin' Strips unless I crumbles them into small pieces. I think maybe she had scared herself by swallowing a big hunk of bone. I was concerned that she might have perforated her gut, but that doesn't seem to be the case. She remains concerned about PORTION CONTROL!

I love airplanes! We live under the flight of the airport so get lots of planes every day but the funny thing is that I don't even hear them anymore, been living here 10 years now.

Took Butter (aka chub chub) for a 6 mile walk today! Was perfect walking weather and she did real good except she is afraid of businesses so I had to go the long way home. Came home and played fetch with Butter and my other dog Cinnamon who isn't as much of a walker but she LOVES to play fetch! She gets all crazy doing flips and diving for the ball. Sadly she hurt her paw tonight so we had to cut it short. She still wanted to play even with a hangnail of some sort. She will have to rest now for about a week... So sad for her

Lazy day. ate lunch outside beneath the wing of the Taylorcraft. Planned for tomorrow's project and a bunch of future projects involving airplanes! We have several airplanes in various stages of construction in the yard. Brie has a degree in aeronautical engineering so we will be taking apart one and frankenstein-ing three others with its parts!

It's just a lot of weight for her to gain in a year. for a small to medium dog.. Haven't been able to walk her long walks and giving her extra goodies hasn't helped so now that the weather is nicer we're back at it and controlling her diet more will help to not keep gaining.

I love asparagus, never tried the white but sounds good! Way to go staying close to your range.

Is it not well that your pups have gained weight?

Last night, Brie and I stayed in town long enough to enjoy the MaiFest at the Little Bavarian Restaurant in El Paso. Featured on the buffet menu were both Green and White Asparagus. The white is available only once a year. I suppose it is harvested younger. It seemed more tender. I indulged in a dollop of Hollandaise but stayed pretty close to my suggested calorie limit for the day. The owner and the cook were bemoaning the prep time: hours and hours of peeling and peeling!
I thought I might have the opportunity to burn off some calories by joining the older ladies afterwards. They were already doing a chair version of the Chicken Dance! It is probably for the better. My trick knee has been playing dirty tricks and causing twinges of pain in a random manner. I plan to have their enthusiasm when I get to their age. Maybe I will only be chair dancing, but I hope I always dance!

Today is a low impact day! I tweaked my back with dumb bell exercises yesterday. I joined the 5% Challenge and I think I am pushing too hard. I want to increase my time of exercise to help the team but it doesn't allow for a day off. I woke up with a headache at 5am and took a muscle relaxant, and went back to bed. I woke up at 7:30am and still had a headache. Took a Sumatriptan to ward off a migraine. Went back to bed for another hour and woke up headache free but lethargic. I guess the extra muscle relaxant gave me a "hangover". We went to "breakfast" after the lunch rush at Spanish Angel's Cafe in the nearby town of Dell City (population 286.) Came home and watched an army movie called the LONGEST DAY about the Normandy invasion with my veteran Sweetie Pie. Then visited with neighbors and came home at sun down. Dinner will be Healthy Choice Chicken and Rice soup with canned mushrooms added.
I could only muster 10 minutes of indoor riding tonight. I am still sore. I'll get Brie to massage my back with Absorbine tonight and I should be fine in the morning.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL YOU MOMS!

Brie and I spent a few hours deecluttering our room. We dug out the photo albums and enjoyed reminescing before we put them into the storage box. We reserved a few to scan and put on our computer hard drives, which we might choose to share. We will soon have a place to set up our printer/scanner. I also found the external hard drive for the computer, which means that I can set up my computer to do art work. That should be fun!

Some of you know that Brie and I compete in cowboy shooting events. Last week Brie and I built a target stand of steel angle-iron, chains and a plank of wood. We even picked up that 80 pound target and hung it from its chains. Today we loaded everything onto the trailor and towed it to the Rod and Gun Club. After we unloaded it (one of the guys lifted the target) I volunteered to rake up extraneous brass, the empty shell casings which litter the ground. Most of the fellows reload their ammo, so they like to find and save their brass to re-use. I didn't tote around steel targets like I did last month. But I've been doing exercises for upper body strength for the past two weeks. So I am READY, WILLING, AND ABLE TO HELP.
There were strong winds from every direction, making the contest a bit more difficult, but
everyone enjoyed shooting at the target, it makes an impressive KABONG when struck by the bullets. The Club president was delighted because they had been talking ABOUT doing a long range shoot out for years. But Brie made it happen, and I helped. The guys gave us a round of applause and toasted us. They will help us do this tournament four times a year.
I only managed to hit the target once. I did much better at practice yesterday! (Some guys didn't hit the target at all!) But I had a blast, anyway.

Momma used to call me BONEHEAD when I was being stubborn. Yesterday, I was being stubborn about using medication when I noticed a headache developing. I was going to tough it out. I know that Sumatriptan is not addictive, and it doesn't destroy my stomach like aspirin and other NSAIDS. Well, I delayed taking the medication at the onset. Yes it got worse. I became light and sound sensitive. And a little bit nauseous. Luckily, the waiting room at the Ford dealership was sound proof. And the mechanics were efficient and got us out quickly. Our truck did not need repairs, just an oil change, cabin filter change and tire rotation. Our truck is a year old today (and tomorrow I will be 60 years old/young) And on the 3rd. Brie and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary! We had already reserved a room at the Motel Six, but we did not go to the Bavarian Restaurant as I had hoped. Instead, I lay down with a cold wash cloth over my eyes and took a second dose of Sumatriptan, which Brie reminded me that my doctor had recommended under these conditions. After a brief nap, I took a hot shower which annihilated the rest of the headache. I lost half a day in dysfunction. I wish that I didn't have to deal with these migraines, but for now, I have a treatment plan which I can apply. As long as I am not being a BONEHEAD about it!

We took her to Banfield vet inside PetSmart. Have an appt for Helga tonight so I hope she can go off the meds and special diet. It's not a lifetime diet, just for while she is ill and needs meds. It kept her from getting sick on the meds. We always gave the dogs easy to digest, no grain food but the special diet was for gastrointestinal food. I have so much food in the garage that was auto shipped from Amazon and she can't eat it now. Will give it to a shelter. Chewy.com is where we got the crate for her. It was on sale and almost $100 less than PetSmart. When we were ordering food they didn't have the brand we wanted so we got it from Amazon. Don't know what food the vet will put her on now.

Cassie doesn't like the weather we had today. There is about a 6 inch blanket of white on my lawn. The neighbor shoveled my walk and even cleaned off my truck today, but the windshield is covered in white again. I'm grateful for having such a wonderful neighbor.

That is so frustrating about Helga's food. But Cassie sure sounds like a nurturer!
I wonder if you could get the vet's office to call PetSmart, whether that would have more effect on corporate?
With our bad backs we only work for two hours at a time. And only when the winds are below 30 miles an hour! We should get a lot accomplished this summer and I will post photos of our progress on my blog and on this Daily Chat Forum!

Cassie was so sweet this morning. I haven't been getting enough sleep and after I woke just after 5 she decided we should go back to bed for a few hours more. She just jumped up on the bed and turned and looked at me until I got in bed. Then curled up next to me to sleep. (I must say, she loves that bed since I got the mattresses last year).

Kiltore, how far are you from Denver? Does chewy.com have the food you need? (I don't know what all they carry) Just wondering how you could get what Helga needs better. I had a friend who used to go to Greeley for her dog's food and they were always stopping carrying it, so when her husband had to be in Denver for doctor appointments, she went to the Petsmart here. They stopped carrying it, too, but the one she went to started carrying it again after she told them it was all her dog could eat. She was living in Brush and there wasn't anywhere to get the food there or anywhere close.

Thanks for asking about Helga. I'm rather frustrated today. The PetSmart by us never has in our dog food. Not for the doxies or Helga. It is the only pet store around here so we keep trying them. I've ordered on line and had it shipped from PetSmart but the prices went up on line and it is cheaper in the store now -- at least here it is. My husband went to get the special food for Helga; due to her medications she has a prescription food. They don't have it again! The vet wrote for a different food and guess what - yep, don't have that either. It's maddening. Now he has to drive to a neighboring town with all the traffic going in and out of Denver to get the food. I called ahead and had them put the food - dry and wet food - at the counter so he didn't have to search for it. I have complained to the store manager and to corporate but all I get is a "Sorry, try again next week." Customer Service sucks at PetSmart.

IZZY! We have a 1940 Taylorcraft which needs the fuel tank replaced and a gascolator, (which pulls water from the fuel) and a fuel bobber (the gas gauge is a rod that sticks up through the cowl.) We have an X-Air that needs fabric and an engine. We have an Avenger Ultralight. It's engine is caput. We will probably use it's root tube for the X-Air. And we have a Flying Flea, which also needs a total rebuild. My 1946 Cessna 140 is ground bound for lack of magnetos (very expensive). Brie designed a fuselage based on the Aeronca C2. It needs fabric and an engine, but it sits on it's gear outside. We have two unfinished fuselages in the workshop, one wooden and one of welded chrome moly steel (for WWI Hawker D7)
By summer we should have finished the roof of our house. That is our first priority. Summer is usually dead calm and we can do the fabric on many of our airplanes. Brie is teaching me all she knows. She doesn't want to use the newer water-based products. Even though they are safer, they don't seem to last long. Stitz and polycoat. We have our work cut out for us - for a LONG while!

Had a very stressful week taking care of Helga who was unable to walk. Had her on meds but they didn't do the job Now she is on such a hectic schedule I have to have a written schedule so I can check everything off. Found out she has a growth plate disease. Her joints are huge - and I do mean huge. Poor baby. She is more comfortable on the new meds. We have to carry her everywhere as she is not allowed to walk. She can barely stand to potty.

Freida gave Helga two of Freida's favorite toys. Freida covets those toys and never allows the other dogs to touch them so that was a big deal. All the dogs are so worried about Helga.

Anyone else have a GSD with this disease?

The weather was perfect today. I would have loved to continue working on the roof, but no luck. Instead, we moved a truckload of boxes into storage at U haul in El Paso. We need to clear out the house so that we can finish the interior.
When we got home from El Paso, Brie started cutting out a template of a buffalo using a sheet of white oak. Tommorrow we will deliver it to a guy who will cut out a steel target. (On May 7th, Brie and I will host a "politically correct" buffalo hunt.
(NO LIVE BUFFALOS WILL BE HARMED!)
While Brie was busy with the buzz saw (high speed vibrating saw) I was in the yard, grilling us some salmon and tuna. I have plans for a nice patio, but we have to build a hangar for all the airplanes in the yard. There always seems to be something extraordinary going on at the homestead!

Well, here I am in all my chubby glory holding a six foot level as I stand in the clerestory which we are building on our roof. I am approximately 204 pounds on April 9, 2017. We worked for over an hour, in spite of gusty winds. As GOFER, I am the one who ducked in and out the railings while Brie perched on the edge of the roof driving screws into the framework. We work well together as a team. She has the know-how and I have the flexibility! We laid a 2"x6"x16' beam parallel and three feet to the north of the clerestory to support the sloped roof. It is the footing for a stub wall. (if that clarifies anything for you!)

SHOOTING MATCH WORK OUT
Sunday, April 02, 2017

The day dawned beautifully as we headed out to the shooting range. We stopped at Denny's for a Fit Fare Veggie omelette. We arrived early at the Rod and Gun Club so I pitched in with setting up one of the shooting ranges. So JP Kidder says, "See those two berms out there? Take the buffalo and spade and leave them there for me. While JP got the steel tripods I started walking. The buffalo target weighs about 25 pounds and the spade weighs 10 pounds. I walked out to 100 yards and I heard a shout. Gee he looked tiny! I had walked 25 yards too far and had to carry them back to the OTHER two berms. (THE WHOLE PLACE IS DUNES AND BERMS!!) I came back and set up another buffalo, and various other steel targets (lighter in weight and much closer) Then I offered to rake up the brass in front of the shooting tables. It is a lot easier to find your brass for reloading if the ground is cleared. Another guy grabbed a rake and raked brass at another shooting station.
The weather was great. At 8 AM the air was a chilly 60 degrees. (Don't roll your eyes at me!) Within two hours the temperature had climbed to the mid seventies. AND NO WINDl I took every opportunity to carry our back pack FULL OF AMMO, which weighed about 45 pounds.I took every opportunity to walk out to the the targets and set them back up for the other shooters. After the competition, I helped to move lots of the targets back into the storage sheds. I do not know how many steps I took or how much weight I lifted, but I had a great time. I thought that my shooting had improved, but so had my competitors. Brie is customizing my rifles so that I can hold them properly. I am at a disadvantage with my short arms. I did not win a trophy, but that didn't dampen my spirits. We all mosied over to the Club house, just as the wind started to pick up. Great timing!

FRONT STUFFERS
Saturday, April 01, 2017
NOPE! I am not talking about ingesting food. I mean black powder rifles. Brie and I dropped by the Rod and Gun Club this morning. Luckily, the Rio Grande Black Powder Shooters were having a match. We each have front stuffers that we picked up somewhere in Phoenix. Mine is a LOOONG one like a Kentucky Long Gun. Brie has a Hawkins, which is shorter but in a bigger caliber. The guys were real friendly and were delighted to see two women willing to join. We got to watch the intricate process of loading the gun from the top of the barrel. (More intricate than I remember Fess Parker doing, in Daniel Boone TV series)
So now we have ANOTHER excuse to hang out t the Rod and Gun Club! (And I have another excuse to wear my top hat and do bead work!)
The gun range is situated among the sand dunes and chapparel. I got my daily work out by doing the 200 yard dash to the privy! 400 yards! (I logged it as 2.4 mph walking on the Fitness Tracker, together with the shopping we did today)

(thanks Kiltore, I,m rather proud of myelf!)

Stayed indoors again. Actually spent time working on a gift for a friend. It involves stitching through four pieces of leather with white linen cord. I have punched holes in the leather, of course, but lining up all those holes is harder than I had anticipated. The beads wouldn't fit over the needle eye, so I had to take the needle off and hand string each bead into place. I succeeded in attaching one strap. The other will wait for tomorrow.

Had a good weekend. Relaxed Friday night, had daughter and her girls over on Saturday for dinner (her husband is an OTR trucker), and today son's family and daughter's family were here for lunch. The youngest granddaughter has learned to pose for pictures! She posed then had a crinkly nose and big toothy smile for us while she laughs about it. So adorable. She really liked the dog stairs to the couch but we all took turns making sure she didn't fall. Dogs loved her. The dogs love everybody but she smelled like milk to them.

Mutt and Duke were barking and i looked out to see why. They were standing in the middle of the backyard looking at something. so i went out to see that the problem was. They had a water moccasin. I brought the dogs in, and went back, the moccasin had taken full advantage of the dogs leaving and split.

I went next door to let the guy doing yard work know the moccasins where out. He asked why I didn't let the dogs kill the snake. Ok I know my dogs have killed many a critter that dared come in the yard, but my first thought was that thing is poisonous, and put the dogs in the house. I don't think the dogs have ever killed a snake and I sure don't want to find out weather or not they know how with a moccasin.

Sorry you had a headache I hate those things. I had a dog with med length hair once, I had never had a dog that needed groomed before, I didn't have a problem he came to me when he needed burs removed, I'm fond of lab/hound mixes so have short haired dogs

While in El Paso yesterday, my niggling headache developed into a full blown migraine. I massaged my aching neck while Brie drove us around. When she stopped for gas I bought a bottle of ice cold water and used it as a compress on my neck. She gave me a neck rub when we got home. I also used my frog. I have an electric massager shaped like a frog. Its legs have nobs on them which pinpoints the sore spots. After a short nap, I felt better. I awakened this morning at daybreak with a small headache. This time the meds took effect and a major headache was averted.

Any tips for DIY dog trimming? Shellie is my obese Sheltie, who loves to be outdoors (sleeping) het comes in with tumbleweeds and grass seeds stuck in her fur. She is patient with brushing for about three minutes and voids letting me brush her tail.

Love to see when they use rescue dogs to do anything good. Rescues have been given such a bad rap. In my 63 years I can't think of a cat or dog we ever had they wasn't a rescue. I also can't think of one that wasn't sweet, loving and very loyal.

The only one I ever had problems with was when i had custody of a young child that had seen things she should never have been exposed to, she had the worse dreams and was afraid of just about everything. The dog decided to be her protector. One of his things was no one could get between me and the child when we went for a walk. Many people got upset when a large dog pushed them away from me. he never growled or bite, he just wouldn't let them between us, He wasn't the problem, the people that didn't listen when i told them not to come close that where the problem. He also slept beside her bed, licking her hand when she had a dream. if she was sleeping quite not even I was allowed to bother her.

The child is a teenager now and lives with relatives, but I have contact. She is a normal teenager in many ways, but volunteers at a soup kitchen, is a feeder at a nursing center, in the band at school and talks about the dog that took care of her when she was little.
