I have nuts every once in while unless I'm craving them. That's a rare occasion. The only time that I have nuts is in a cereal that they're part of or a snack mix.

I'm curious why they keep saying to eat a handful of nuts but yet when you track them the fat in nuts really throws the percentages off. I eat them occasionally but then I regret it because of the fat they contain.

This year is all about me and my quest to unload this extra person I have been hauling around.

Not anywhere close to where I should be but today I did buy a healthy choice for lunch left the dessert & the gravy but it was filling. I need to do that more often & start bringing my pb&j & tuna sandwiches with veggies & a fruit to spare. Gotta get 40mins of cardio done but it is warm in Chicago...ugh!

Does anyone use the RunKepper app? I have it on my android phone and I love it! It has an audio cue on it that tells you every five minutes how fast your walking or running, your pace, calories burned and more. It makes me feel like I have a walking partner.

Hi everybody, I did good today. I have a riding lawn mower but i used a push mower today for exercise. I cut grass today for 2 hours, I am soooooooooo proud of myself. Tomorrow i am going to walk a mile. I had surgery on my foot 3 months ago so my doctor told me to take it easy. I love walking and before surgery i was walking 5 miles a day. Boy i can't wait until i am back up to 5 miles again. I am learning that there isn't time for complaining just do it. So now that is what i am doing JUST DOING IT

My cycle is almost done & my food cravings are under control. I must have eaten way too many sweets cause I have 2 acne bumps pop up on me. Trying to get back to my strawberries, apples, bananas & oranges the natural sweetners.

Ate so much yesterday that I actually wasn't hungry til this evening! SHOCKING!! Cause normally if I eat too much I just continue on in that pattern the next several days which turns into weeks. I am so sick & tired of NOT being able to wear that shirt or those jeans cause of my belly. I am not in total control but I am trying to do better

We do have to constantly remind ourselves that we are worth cause God said so! Bottom line & keep it moving. I am glad you are feeling better & it is close to that time of month so cookies, sweets & sour chips are my down fall but not all at the same time though. I ate okay today but I did have butter cookies & red vines. Not so much that I am uncomfortable but enough.

Dee, I wouldn't wish a migraine on my worst enemy! I will say, however, that I am determined to make things better for myself this week. I have my meals planned and am trying to get a workout in everyday this week. The increase in meds has definitely decreased my appetite and I'm having a difficult time even getting in my total calories per day.

It's a new month ahead of us! Let's be our own best friend and remember that we are in this for the long haul and take care of our bodies! After all, it is the only one that God gave us!

I've had a few headaches but none quite like migranes. I did horribly over the weekend with cinnamon rolls & such. I did get in a workout but now need to get my head back in the health game. I suppose we should be able to treat ourselves but not overindulge. lol

April was a rough month for me migraine wise. I saw the neurologist a couple of weeks ago and he has changed my meds. I am hoping that this will help. It's hard to feel like doing much when you feel like your head is splitting open. emoticon
