Update : I just did my second degree yellow belt and most weeks I go twice a day 3 times a week and swimming on the off days. I have had it with my excuses and I will get this weight off. So you all keep up the good work.
2nd dan test Dec 3! I'm almost 4 years out from my 1st dan test, but I missed two prior opportunities to test because of injuries. I do NOT want to miss it this time, and I want to be the best I can be, which does not include all this extra weight! I know there's a limited amount I can do in such a short time, but I'm gonna do the best I can.

Good question. I guess it helps to got my yellow belt. My motto is just keep going. Consistency will win. I am going to take my time. Sometimes that is really hard because I am not a really patient person but we should always work on our weaknesses.
