i'm not sure, but it seems if the tea doesn't have caffeine, it could count for your water intake. my husband and i drink lots of hot tea in the evenings when it gets cold. my favorite brand is yogi. they are naturally sweet because of the licorice root in lots of them. i think they are delicious (and i hate most hot tea.)

This is the time of year that I drink more falvored waters. Crystal Light and All Bran have great little packets you can put in a bottle of water on the go or even at home. The nice one about All Bran is it's a fiber supplement also so you get a big part of your fiber in too. Somehow the different flavors make it easier for me to get in my water when it's colder.

I'm the same way Kehwie, and it isn't that cold here. I drink lots of herbal teas sweetened with stevia and room temperature water. Overall my water intake is about 1/2 of what it is in the summer. I'm closer to 16-20 glasses in the summer on days that I workout. I'm not losing as much water this time of year so I think it's okay.

Okay, I was doing really well drinking my water...until it turned cold! Suddenly a big glass of cold water isn't all that appealing anymore, and I'm struggling to get it in now. I don't have any decaf or herbal teas on hand, and I'm not sure those should count for all my water intake anyway. Does anyone have any brilliant suggestions? What do you do when it turns chilly? (Assuming of course you live somewhere that does turn chilly!). ;)
