Yeah I'm doing much much better today :) DH and I are making a roasted whole chicken with carrots and roasted potatoes drizzled with Olive oil, italian spice, and fresh garlic. With homemade bread and real butter :D For dessert we have a delicious watermelon that I chopped up and its sooo good. Yeah we're eating good tonight :) Tomorrow night its homemade chicken soup.

Never be ashamed of how long you have been on Sp. Life happens! I have actually been here a year and a half, and even though I lost 10 lbs in the first three months, I am actually a few pounds over from what I originally started. It totally sticks, but I'm sticking with it. I know I can do it. Baby changes is what needs to take place.

Missy- your increase in exercise is definite progress. I know we want to see progress on the scale, but we also need to look at the bigger picture and see our lifestyle changes as progress too.

Sarah- ah, I've been in your boat so many times (just last week in fact!). Through it behind you! Pick yourself up now, and it will matter! It does matter. You matter!

Oh, and about the challenge. if you fell off the challenge, just get back on! You're not competeing with others, but just yourself. So, even if you blew it one week, who cares, do great the next week! Don't quit the challenge. Get back on!

patty- i do have a hypothyroid. i am on meds for it. when i first went on meds i lost 11 lbs. that was a year ago.

Sarah Lynne, I completely understand, only I had a horrible 10 days!! I had to take myself out of the challenge, because I had blown it. I know I ate way too much, and didn't exercise at all. I started fresh this week, and although I haven't been perfect, today was my first day totally within my nutrition range. So YOU CAN DO THIS!!! Just take your time, and start slowly. Count the small victories that you have, and soon you will be 100% back on track.

Missy, I'm am very surprised to hear that you haven't lost any weight...do you think there might be a medical condition that is making it difficult for you to lose the weight? (like a thyroid issue or something) I'm very proud of you for sticking with it and pushing through, knowing that you are doing something to change your life and not just watching the scale.

i know how you feel. i have been pretty frusterated lately. i have been on sparkpeople since march and have not lost a single pound, where as some other people that started in march have lost 25 lbs.

i am not sure what i should do. i went from not exercising at all to doing it at least three times a week. i was expecting at least a little change.

the only thing i know i can do is keep working at it, because giving up will not help reach my goal.

Praying for you that you can get in the Word today and move beyond the emotion. I've been there I know it can be all-consuming. Get in the Word and make time to plan out the rest of your day on foodtracker so you can salvage the rest of it.

I've had a horrible two days. I haven't tracked and I know I've eaten way too much garbage because I feel totally lazy and sluggish again. I haven't worked out in what seems like forever. I'm feeling disconnected from my progress and like it doesn't matter anyway.

If ya'll could maybe pray for me...I know God's the only one who can get through this thick, stubborn, skull of mine and remind me why I'm doing all of this.

Any advice is welcome as well!!
