If acid reflux is a big problem for you, you could always try taking an apple cider vinegar tonic (2 tsp ACV, 1 cup warm water honey or maple syrup to taste). It sounds weird to drink vinegar for acid, but it works. Amazing stuff!

My Dr. was actually just telling me that she didn't have any issues until later in her pregnancy then she would wake up almost every night and throw up due to acid reflux then be fine and go right back to sleep. Maybe the acid reflux really is the issue? Best of luck!

Sunshine, that's really interesting... I hadn't thought it could be acid reflux, but I do get pretty bad heartburn so that makes sense. I don't feel like I have heartburn in the morning when it happens, though. It also really does feel like my stomach just gets too full... I think maybe I drank too much water when I first woke up. Anyway, I didn't throw up (yet) this morning, and I actually just went running, so I think so far so good! So long as this is just every few weeks I'm fine with it. :-p

I got sick around week 25 - and couple weeks later again. I talked with my doctor and she said it was most likely my Acid Reflux. Also because the baby is getting bigger everything is squished inside. I tried eating smaller meals and avoiding bending over after eating. I also did not eat anything that I could not tolerate. Hope you feel better.

I'm sure its just a pregnancy thing too. I also know women who experience MS throughout their entire pregnancy too so, yes, it's possible at any week. Can you relate it to a specific food or drink that just doesn't agree with you? If not, just toss it up as one of those lovely joys of pregnancy and be glad it isn't every day. Sorry! I hope you feel better soon.

I was lucky enough to have my MS disappear right at week 14 with all of my pregnancies. Some women just experience it throughout. It is odd that you're not feeling nauseous though... I had a friend who was so sick throughout the entire thing but she had nausea accompany it as well not just the urge to toss her cookies. I don't know...?

Aside from some light nausea in the evenings, I felt fine during my first trimester. I've mostly felt fine in my second trimester too, but in week 17, week 21, and now today AND yesterday in week 25 I've thrown up first thing in the morning (after drinking and sometimes after eating some breakfast, but pretty much first thing). It isn't even really like I feel nauseous, I just suddenly HAVE to throw up. I don't have a fever or anything, and I feel ok (though a little off the rest of the day) otherwise, so I really think this is just a pregnancy thing. Has anyone experienced this?? Did anything help? When did it go away?

Thought I'd dodged that bullet!
