MRSGOFARR - just the fact that you are out and up and active is impressive and very inspiring! So happy to hear you are on the mend and enjoying those beautiful baby girls.

I need to take a cue from you and change up my gym routine to be able to spend more time with DH and DS while getting active.

That is great MRSGOFARR my dh and I used to walk in the mall every Sunday. Free parking and stroller ride for the baby.. when I had to nurse I would go over to the Hotel attached to the mall and use the sofa.. Nice and quiet and comfortable. Hope you are doing well.

I am still healing from my c-section but I did buy 2 new pair of new balance shoes to get me excited about the walking and exercising I will do this summer! Yesterday, Hubby and I walked around the mall for a few hours and that was great!

This week I've been lazy and haven't worked out but I will join my friend again next week and get our 2 or 3 days in. I should be receiving my pregnancy workout video today I hope it's not boring if it is I'll stick to hip hop abs and zumba but will modify and not over do it. I hope I stay active this entire pregnancy!

GF Mommy I used a support garment for a bit and it helped a little. I had a lot of round ligament pain.

I have been hurting a lot lately. Supporting abs are not supporting very well. It hurts to stand..let alone walk. I know I really should push to at least do the 5 minutes..5 minutes is better than nothing.
I have lost 5lbs though since I have started SP again though. :)

Diedra - I laughed when I saw you posted here. Didn't you just have a baby. Look at your ready to dive in. I admire you.

I did a lot of walking around on Sunday running errands. Hope that counts....

Maybe we should have a walking challenge that you and I do together. What do you say?

GF Mommy - How are you doing?

Completely forgot to do anything yesterday. Was busy prepping and shopping for my baking/cooking day today....that counts though, right? Did LOTS of walking and chopping. I still have a lot to do...and need to have it done by tonight.

NYC. I have actually been taking the subway in the wrong direction to the last stop so I can be sure I get a seat at this point!

Today my little one woke me up for some 4AM yoga. Thanks kid!

Just my trip from the subway to work (and later to get home). I now know why people just want to get this over with. I feel like I'm about to pitch over! I'm not even trying to go fast at this point, just keep walking.

I am going to go do 5 minutes on the Rebounder(mini trampoline type of thing).
This is the first pregnancy that I have actually been encouraged by my doctor to exercise. All the other times I was told that it was dangerous and I needed to gain weight for the baby, that loosing weight could hurt the baby. Though with my last one, 10 months old now, I lost 30lbs throughout the pregnancy and the nurses were having a fit!

I got in a 50 minute workout on Sunday. It was awesome. It had been 2 weeks before that because I got a bad sinus infection.

I had fallen behind on my yoga lately but did about 20 minutes yesterday! It was a dvd entitled " Yoga for your Pregnancy: Your Guide to Prenatal Fitness and A Healthy Birth With Kristen Eykel". A little fast for me, but poses weren't too hard for the segments I did.

If so, I did it. I'll go add in today's workout.

Maybe I'll open that Jillian DVD after baby arrives.

The Jillian Michaels DVD, I think it was 30 day shred. For yoga I'm using "Element: Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga". The demonstrator is in the 3rd trimester. I really like it.

Awesome, thanks! I am going to have to check it out. I didn't have sciatic nerve problems until I was further along in my first pregnancy and then really bad after birth. My son must have messed me up good if I'm already having pains now! ;)

Got lots of cleaning done around the house yesterday. Vacuumed, cleaned the bathrooms, and did laundry. I also premade my breakfasts for the week. The only problem was my sciatic nerve was killing me after all that. I need to find some good stretches to help alleviate that. Anyone know of any?

Did a strength training workout today and have walked the last couple days. Got the post-partum all-clear from my OB today to do more strenuous exercise.

30 minutes of yoga this morning when I woke up and couldn't get back to sleep. It's the first time in years. Why did I wait so long to try yoga again? I'm sleep-deprived but I feel fantastic!

Haven't worked out today but a few days ago got 30 minutes of walking in (2 shorter walks) plus swimming and strength exercises at the pool. It's been in the 90s (supposed to be over 100 today) so it's just too hot to go outside. Planning on the pool again this evening.

I love the SparkPeople videos! I'm going to give one of Coach Nicole's strength training workouts from her Firm, Fit and Fired Up DVD a try in a few minutes.

And I've been on a couple walks lately. My foot is bothering me, so no running yet and I also want to get cleared by my OB to do more vigorous activity before I try that anyway.

Supposed to be hot, humid and a chance of thunderstorms here in Maryland. Got to work a bit early and went outside for a walk. Already at a 1.40 miles for the day. I'm planning to get on the treadmill tonight when I get home.

I sucked this weekend. My inlaws are in town so I spent time with them instead of exercising. I'm hoping that it doesn't get too hot outside today and that I can take a few short walks outside to get in some exercise.

Went for a 10 minute walk. I walked up and down the stairs for about 10 minutes at work and I had also strength training for 15 minutes.

* I do deserve it
*My kids deserve to have me be active with them and participate in there lives.

*I don't want my kids to remember me as fat and "Humpty Dumpty".

*I want to be there for grand kids.

*Start seeing how strong I really am.
*Change my thoughts and feelings about myself and my body.
*I can achieve success if I'm moving toward something.
*Don't let my body become a screen for all my negative thoughts

Hubby and I had an exercise date last night. I got on the treadmill while he got on the elliptical and we watched the first half hour of Big Brother while exercising. Pretty happy that he's wanting to exercise with me. He realized that he's put on more weight this pregnancy than I have, so he wants to take action. Him getting up and exercising with me keeps me motivated.

I'll take a few walks today at work before it gets hot out and then I'll be on the treadmill again tonight for a while.

Way to go! 19 days post and you're already walking a mile? Great job!!!

Got to work this am and our power was out. I decided to take advantage of the awesome weather and went outside for a walk. I'm already over 2 miles for the day and I haven't had my afternoon walk yet.

It's nice to feel food and actually WANT to exercise!

Nice! I got in a one mile walk today. Far cry from my running days, but given that I'm 19 days post-partum and had an infant in a stroller with me, I think it's pretty good!

Skipped my treadmill date last night because I was exhausted. I got up this am and went to the grocery store and walked around and then came to work and walked some more. It is gorgeous outside today in Maryland so I would like to take another walk or two today while at work. And I WILL be getting on the treadmill tonight. :)

I've been on a roll lately. My last appointment was 7.21.14 and I've only gained 5 lbs overall (I am now 20 weeks). My midwife said that this is ok since I have some extra weight. She also recommended that I keep walking. So hubby and I have a nightly date - I get on the treadmill and he gets on the elliptical.

the walking part of my commute is about all the exercise I've been getting. Luckily when combined with normal activity it amounts to about 8,000 of the 10,000 steps I'm supposed to be doing each day. I just have to try to stay active into the evening to hit 10,000 (~5 miles?).

Great that my job is at a Botanical Garden. Just did a quick 20 minute walk around the Garden and hope to get another 20 minutes in tonight around my block.
