I have to say that I did laugh out loud when I saw the title for episode 8 after the mid-series finale. It was completely unexpected and certainly ended the mood for the episode!

Episode 9 and Episode 11 intrigue me greatly and I hope they're as awesome as they sound!

Slightly more detailed info on the second half of the season courtesy of BBC:

Doctor Who is expected to return on 27th August with Episode 8 Let's Kill Hitler, to be followed by Night Terrors (by Mark Gatiss), The Girl Who Waited (by Tom MacRae) and The God Complex (by Toby Whithouse).

The titles for Episode 12 (by Gareth Roberts) and 13 (by Steven Moffat) are currently unconfirmed.

That would be great. However, considering what BBC America did with Memorial Day, I don't know...the first episode is Labor Day weekend. I HOPE they stick with this schedule, though!

My understanding is that much like when this season started out, it's supposed to be airing in sync across the board more or less. I haven't seen anything that says otherwise, but I hate to swear to anything.

Hi. I'm new to this group. I have a question - the dates listed with the episodes - is that release date in the UK? Canada? The US? Australia? I know that with the spring episodes, UK, US & Canada had the same dates until Memorial Day weekend, when the US shifted a week behind UK & Canada. And Australia started the season 2 weeks behind everyone else, so was still 1 week behind the US at the end of the season. And I know BBC America doesn't HAVE to show on the same release dates as BBC does in the UK. So I was just wondering if it's known which country's dates these are.

Hi everyone! In reference to the God Complex, I like it when he struggles to be more human even when he has all this potential power. At the end of Voyage of the Damned when the Doctor couldn't bring Astrid back but the buttwipe snob lived, the "Earthonomics Expert" alluded to that power. He said (and I'm paraphrasing greatly--even though I just watched it this morning during my workout and should probably know the exact words) that if the Doctor had had a choice, the snob would have died and Astrid would have lived. He then adds, but then you'd be a monster if you had that kind of power. BTW that was the DVD version; the more recent airings of the episode cut a lot of stuff--like Wilfrid (Donna's grandpa seeing the Doctor for the first time).

I also agree with Beth that the title doesn't have to refer to the Doctor. Could be a historical episode and it refers to Hitler or anyone/thing.

In context of the upcoming season, though, the title does not by any means HAVE to refer to the Doctor. Could be pretty much anyone up to and including critters and creatures we haven't ever seen before :)

I agree on the God Complex one. That whole thing kind of irritated me. The Doctor thinking he is all powerful is not the kind of thing I look for in the character.

They don't seem to be spoiling anything but then again, that God Complex one worries me because the last time the Doctor went through something like that was in Water of Mars and he was positively scary..
