She learned about the paper bag princess, and made a dress out of a large paper bag, a tiara from pipecleaners, and had glitter sprinkled in her hair :-) Then she made a wallet from duct tape and when everyone was making beaded necklaces, she chose to turn hers into a keychain. The 4th and 5th grade troops coordinated the activities, which means next year HER troop will have the opportunity to help plan what they organize then. The girls had so much fun that they can't wait to give that a shot!

My daughter and her troop are going for a half-day of fun activities at Camp Dellwood - making lip gloss and other goodies they can pamper themselves with :-) Had to wake up early so we can all be out the door by 7:30 this morning! I'm not going with her, just dropping her off and picking her up, so I'll be anxious to hear what stories she has to share when she's done.
