Well, the inserts have worked pretty well. I'm not in terrible pain. I have just a bit of pain when getting up from bed in the morning... but have not had chronic pain during the day like I have had in the past! I'm down 27 lbs since january, and I'm sure that has helped as well.

I bought mine in May '10 and I love them as I have had, maybe, two or three (see, I can't even remember) flair ups since, only once needing my crutches. My only drawback was not being able to use them in sandals. I just ordered, and today received, my new Orthaheel sandals. OMG- these feel awesome! I just hope the results for me are the same as the Dr. Scholl's orthotics have been.
Best of luck!

What a wonderful trip! I think the inserts must work for people or they wouldn't sell them. I had custom orthotics made, but since I discovered Aetrix Ambulator shoes, I don't need to wear them. Have fun!

I stood on the Dr. Scholl's machine that measures your arch and foot dimensions...got my size , and shelled out $50 bucks for those special inserts last night. I'll let you know how it goes! I am going to WA state in two months and want to walk the streets of Seattle, hike the Olympic National Forest and climb Mt. Ranier! I can't have my feet stopping me! If these supports don't help by the time school is out...I'm heading to the podiatrist and will get corstisone shots if for nothing else but to be able to go on vacation with no pain! My daughter's little family just moved to Tacoma WA with the US Army and I'm planning a 2 week visit. Here goes nothing! I'll let you know if the $50 was a waste or not! There is a gauranteed money back deal if you keep your reciept and the UPC code....I figured I didn't have anthing to lose, but the pain!
