I don't weigh myself very often any more. The scale was just making me to crazy and upset. I am trying to be a healthier and more fit person. I would love to be a size 6, but with my family history of heart disease and diabetes, I need to be healthy more than I need to be thin. I pay attention to how much easier it is to ride 15 miles, how I can push harder with out struggling to catch my breath, and how I feel after working out. Hang in there, and try not to let the scale rule your new life.

Losing weight and getting healthier is going to take time. You cannot rush it! If you take small steps everyday you will reach your goal (s)! Sometimes it may seem as though you are going backward even.... Adding strength training will help, but again don't rush it or you may give up before you see huge results. Take your journey one step at a time.
I've been doing very well with my eating and cardio, however I'm not seeing a change in my weight. I know I need to start some strength training as well and I have that marked on my calender. It also seems some of my clothes are fitting loser, while others are not. This has left me feeling really disappointed because I'm trying so hard. Any word of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.
