I have been reading magazines, books, articles, blogs etc about exercise...a lot. My question is.....Why do we only see people who are grinning like fools, in tank tops and shorts, running on a well groomed and clean path, through a glorious park, in summer with the sun streaming down (and the people with them are identical to them)?
Where are the grumpy people, out in the rain and snow, trudging through waist high drifts in snow suits with covered faces and knee high boots?
Anyone can make their exercise quota on a "perfect" day... how many can make it when the days (yes days...Michigan has weeks of them) are cruddy and gloomy and downright awful to be out in? By the way...I've been cold since the end of October and haven't warmed up yet.
