You've been a busy one, Night. With all that working out, you must be losing some lbs!

Weather says we've got a chance of snow next week. It would be the first of the season. Would be fun to have a light snow.

Getting our holiday tree on Sunday, unfortunately it's supposed to rain, but it's the only day we can both go. We're going to get a permit to chop a tree down in the forest. Just a little 3 footer or so.

I got some glass xmas balls and kind of made my own decorations out of them - the easy way. It was fun. Haven't really celebrated the season in years, but am inspired to do so this year. Instead of Christmas or Hanukkah, I celebrate the "Season of Light" which kind of encompasses all the spiritualities I know of that celebrate this time of year. The 3 biggies all have to do with light (Christmas, Hanukkah, and Winter Solstice).

Hope you are well. We'll have to do an intervention on Janet!

well weather here been little weird cold one week warm next and 1/2 warm /cold week after that.
so you have been working your rear off , still enjoying it?

well I got to finish my exercises before Christmas shows come on so far I have total 70 min in different exercises from walking on treadmill , stationary bike and strength , still have the BLC- teams work out to do not sure how many step ups and punches I will do as I am wearing down now, lol emoticon
THE bad new s is I am gaining again and losing those same pounds over and over again I thought I had ran over that darn cow but I guess there was a MOOSE in road I had hit to
emoticon .
hope fully I can work around that moose, lol emoticon

YIKES I see its time for lunch so guess I will go sniff out some thing to eat.

this weekend has been a wild one we had my brother and them here they went stayed 3 days to go hunting and got nothing to show for it
, now they will be back again this weekend and until they get one.

It's the start of the week. Hope you ladies have a great one! And hope you get some good weather.

Yes, Night, since I've become the breadwinner, and my husband has retired, he has started taking good care of me, including building wood stove fires, making dinner, doing dishes, etc.. He sees how hard I work, and the hard choices I had to make in order to take care of him. It took a couple of years of hell to get here - so glad we're past that part!

Gotta fly, now, to work. Have a wonderful week!

JANEYTEE - guess I will have to come up and step on that foot , that will make it better emoticon I still can not figure out how you can walk all that way up your darn hill with that foot like that. ouchie, does the cold weather bother it much?
THANKS - I think I worked my tail off to kill that cow, lol
this week my goal is back to 1 pound,
I am right now on rest break from doing our Team challenges for weekend , this weekend they are hard,
sodium , carbs, fat, protein range, and bunch of other things.
I see next month they have a November challenge out for thanksgiving think its also on face book to which I don't go to much.

Happy Friday ladies!

Thankfully we only had snow flurries. But it is still cold, gray and windy. Brrrrrr! But the weekend is upon us and I don't have to go out in the weather much. I am hoping it warms up a bit though. Hate being stuck inside for too long.

Lynn - I had my foot in a boot for 9 weeks. It didn't hurt at all when I was in it. That was supposed to give it time to try and heal itself, But when it was time to take the boot off and I started walking on it it slowly started hurting again and even swelled up again. I am so tired of dealing with this!

Night - I am glad you are doing well! Great job on the weight loss!

Not cold at all tonight, Night. I came home to a toasty fire in the wood stove.

I don't allow TV in the bedroom. We have our laptops and can watch movies, etc., on them in the living room. That's plenty!

Had a good day - saved a client or two, got my work done and went to a little party put on by a mortgage broker I met. Had a better time than I thought I would, for the type of party it was. What a hoot!

Janet, congratulations to Marissa and her team! I'm sorry your ankle is still bothering you. Ugh! Are you able to stay off of it, to help it heal on its own? Can you get your family to wait on you when you're not working? Tell them it's that, or surgery, which will surely lay you up for months and they'll have to do all the cooking and cleaning and errands!

Sorry to hear about the weather forecast for you ladies. 40 is cold, especially if there's no sun (but with sunshine, I LOVE 40 degrees!). We got lucky - the fog is lifting in the afternoons now, so I got to enjoy sunshine with low 50s temps after work for a few minutes, which is perfect for me. Feeling fortunate just now, compared to you ladies with 'real' winter weather coming on.

My new(ish) job has been intense this week, and I think it will be for some time. If we bring in enough money with the new boss, I'll be asking for more hours, for sure. Can only do so much in my limited hours, and unbeknownst to them, I'm giving some hours for free, so I don't blow a gasket trying to cram more into the hours than is possible. I am taking the fun stuff home - the desktop publishing. It helps to still be in the 'honeymoon' stage of my new job. I love it, and the people I work with and for. It's a natural high to be working again...been a long time since I felt this way, and am quite grateful for it.

Again, I'm babbling. Sorry to ramble.

Good morning ladies! Sorry I haven't been on in awhile. I have been really busy at work and had a busy weekend of soccer! Marissa's team won both games this weekend! Yeah!

The weather here is turning cold. Only supposed to be in the 40s today. They are forecasting snow flurries for tomorrow and Friday! Brrrrrrrr! I am just not ready for winter yet!

My ankle is still bothering me so I have only been doing some light walking. And of course I got off-track again with my eating. But I am determined to finally get back on for good. So here's me going at it again.

Done well food-wise lately. Plan to let myself have some wine tomorrow night, though. Work has been intense and will enjoy calming down with a glass of emoticon

The whole area seemed to be in a deep fog for 4 days! Today, the fourth day, there was finally some blue sky by mid-afternoon. Had to work, but hope to enjoy it after work tomorrow.

ok me back but not sure which hurts most my rear or butt, lol
I just got done a mixture of 80 min T-N-T and cardio after each set-. went through deck of cards twice,
also did a video 8 min on here ,
wandering if this is worth the 2 pounds I am to lose by next wed. do you think I will make it ?, right now I need some good coaches know any that I can use for punching bags, lol for 1 week from now until wed. to met my goals.

YEP JANEYTEE - its a nice looking pumpkin hope I wont be able to taste it in my soup emoticon ,

well I think I should dig out them darn notes and see if I can set on this, and sort out why , when , what happened and write that blog before next Christmas-lol
also I see I have a team assignment more she added on so need to do that yet today emoticon

I'm so sorry you are having to continue to suffer with your ankle, and have such a hard decision to make. I know you'll make the right one.

Night, I'm sure they appreciate your sense of humour, but if they don't, then they're missing out on the fun! I can't imagine you not being funny!

Overcast here today, but we've had some beautiful weather - unusual in October here - so I'm grateful.

Gotten off track again (what's new?), but back on again this morning. Period.

Won't get a chance to exercise today, as we're driving into town for shopping and errands, but maybe we'll get home in time for a walk before it gets dark.

nope I live in flat land safer for me I would fall over a ant now that my back and hips this way, lol
that sounds like funn hills will for a work out but not every day,

I just found that I never posted yesterdays meals and got them done , now need to get rest done , and I read the teams post we got a penalty so have to do 50 push ups any way, so I think I am going to mix and match mine for the price of one emoticon .

Sounds like another busy day for you! I got in a little bit of walking by walking to my bus stop. It is about 3/4 of a mile walk. But the real work comes when I get home. It is all uphill then! And the hill is pretty steep. Where you live you don't have to worry about hills. But me I live in the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains and it is all hills. Can't walk anywhere without going up or down hills. But I guess that is a better cardio workout.

good morning my Highness , lol, what a day I got up and did my early walk come home and every one still sleep woke up kids loaded them up took them to school come back had to go up town to get gas so hubby could get to work, then come back found out I was out of soap so had to go back up get soap to wash dishes, so been up there couple times already have in 7,035 steps and now I am also getting a chance to set down and chow up my breakfast.

I need to read my notes here and write my blog yet for the challenge to figure out why , what , who , did this to me emoticon .

also I think I need to fill out a tracker to from last night cant remember if I tracked yesterdays meals lol
got to get in my T-N-T today and plan for the week end challenges coming up have some easy ones so hope no distractions so can get full points in and lot of minutes.

Hmm I wandered were our rain went to , lol for once it was nice here, but now they say more rain on way emoticon .tonight or tomorrow.

Good morning! Yesterday's weather was a total washout. Rained just about all day. Today is starting out not that bad.

I am putting everything on my tracker - bad and good. I have not been able to drop the dew. It is so very hard for me. I keep trying though. Hopefully today will be a better day.

every thing I eat and drink on my food tracker , lol ,
I cant figure out why I gained I done all those darn exercises and other challenges , but maybe it was because I had cut out a lot of my time down.was doing a lot of crazy running this week,and a lot of company coming on vacation here yet emoticon
I posted yesterday what I did ate , lol had a bad day told them any way I just read the message she wrote back that she hopes I learned a lesson in eating all those animal crackers,

yep I sure did, emoticon , theres some -lions, monkeys, elephants, rinos,and bears in that cookie box and no wonder why little kids like them emoticon

right now I am tracking filling in all my points and stuff that need to be done,

SHAME- on you , I didn't say to drink one lol I asked thought you broke that habit,hehe.

don't blame you but I am glad its my back. hip, leg that gets me not my foot and ankle , that's were you have to put more oops all the weight on emoticon .

Well old lady how did you do?

I don't watch the Biggest Loser. I don't watch any reality shows. I mostly watch the crime drama type shows or I watch my soaps which I tape during the day.

Yesterday went pretty good for me as far as my eating. I stayed well within all my ranges! I haven't done that for awhile. So far today I am doing good but I really am wanting a mountain dew really bad. Hopefully I can ignore it!

My ankle is not really doing well. Yesterday it was all swollen again and my heal is killing me. I am trying to get my walking in but this foot is not letting me!

I haven't tried any chair exercises but that is a good idea. I think I will try to do some of those. I just have this feeling that the only thing that is going to fix the problem with my ankle is surgery emoticon

No I don't like pumpkin soup - in fact I don't really like pumpkin at all. But I will try to find some good soup recipes on here. Thanks for the ideas.

that will keep your finger busy so can not eat.Have you tried any chair exercises besides what your therapist told you to do,

Maybe you should just take it one day at time, least you know why your gaining and can try figure out who to smack in face first , emoticon

WELL you found me having a bad day , until I read this, lol now not so sure if my situation is that bad, but bad enough for the weigh in tomorrow.
I have been working my butt of everyday and eating the challenges food challenge they gave us sense last wedn and guess what today scale says I gained 1 .2 pounds or so emoticon

Good morning ladies! So sorry to be gone all this time. And no I was not on vacation all that time! Just 1 little week.

I totally fell off the wagon and I am back trying to get back on that wagon. Of course I have gained some weight back. I have to start over. One of my biggest problems was or is that I still am having problems with my ankle. I spent the entire summer in a boot. I have two tears in my tendon near my ankle and I have a bone bruise on my heel. I was not able to do any exercising and I have been real discouraged about everything. I just really let go with my eating and with no exercising it had a really bad effect on me.

Well I got out of the boot a week ago. At first everything seemed fine. But now my ankle is bothering me as much as it was before and I think my heel hurts even more. I am supposed to return to my ortho doctor in mid-November. The only problem is he told me if wearing the boot doesn't work then the only thing else to do is surgery and I really don't want surgery! But I also don't want to walk around in pain all the time either. Not sure what to do.

I have been walking since I got the boot off but not as much as I used to do. I am going to really try and watch my eating right now to get back on track.

wow she still on vocation, that must be one heck of a party she at.
hope you had fun, the fair was fun but I come home tired boy am I tired glad I never drove home last night I dozed off couple times woke up to find that we were on our street, lol

She's on vacation? Lucky dog :) Hope she's having a wonderful time!

I find that a lot of people who say they don't have money for (fill in the blank), still have money for shopping, for iphones, etc.

I'm taking it easy this weekend, and the weather is gorgeous today. We're going to a Shakespeare in the Park an hour away from here. Looking forward to it. But gotta get my butt moving if I'm going to have time for a walk before we leave!

hi just got back from shopping with DD and her friends but of course I got stuck with the food bill for every one this is the 6 month they have did that to me they all keep saying they have no money to eat out, ya right seems like they have money to go shopping after wards it sure shows up some how.
cost like heck on phones to now a days, , lol snail mail is still cheapest, lol
talk about snail wondr what happen to Janeytee she was on vacation , maybe she took wrong turn and got lost on the island lol.

I'm so sorry you're in such pain still. Wish your back would just heal up, gosh darn it!!!!

I'm sorry about your friends. I hope you can find some new friends nearby. I know how hard it is to lose friends, both by their passing, and by moving a thousand miles away - my closest friend is not into phone calls these days, so I miss her terribly.

I did good this week. Letting myself loose a little tonight as a treat, then back on track tomorrow!

I have no where to go or money until I get caught up on bills emoticon so cant go shopping and I lost both of my neighbors they both passed away a year now , the one I use to go have coffee she been gone since july 19 of last year, funny I still wake up thinking I am going to tell her this or that something funny that has happened then it hits me I cant.
well I need to get off here my back killing me need to stand up for 30 min feel like I have a ton of bricks on it right now,lol. it also burning feeling to it.

I think you should just get up early, take the car, and go to the fair you want to go to. Let them all fend for themselves for a day!

I think I have a permanent replacement for Tuesdays at the Food Bank. I'll keep Fridays, as I really enjoy it and am willing to give up working on Friday afternoons. Will rest this weekend, and go to a Shakespeare in the Park on Sunday. It will be nice to just relax for a day.

wandering where you took of to lately.
sounds like you need a month of rest, for me same old story had grandkids again then exercises and eat bed, my life is boring, lol
I wanted to go to a fair thing Friday -sunday but had all kids so end up staying home while hubby went with the others to have fun. I told him it was not fair that you tell them to bring kids here then take off and have fun while I have to watch them.also told DD that when she come to get kids Monday she just laughed about it said we had fun.

Been so tired and feeling strung out from doing too much. Finally got someone to replace me for Food Bank work today, but I need a day off before I can catch up with rest. Grrrr. So I've been using it as an excuse to eat horribly.

I'm back on track starting right now! (Easy to say right before bed, eh?)

wow sounds like you worked your rear off I stayed up till 12a.m not my doings every time I went to be hubby come woke me up for something stupid.
just got back at 6;05 am from early walk feels more like fall out there then late summer.
next thing I will know I will have to be wearing my winter jacket. emoticon
will sleep tight and don't let the bed bugs bite. emoticon

I was awake most of the night, so I got some work done between 2am-5am. Then I took a morning 'nap' and worked a few more hours today.

Despite this, I ate very, very well today, so far. Will try to resist the German chocolate cake that's sitting in the fridge for dessert.

It's wonderful that you had fresh veggies as a kid. I hated veggies, but our veggies were out of a can. I didn't know peas could be sweet until I was 21 years old, and my brother took me through his garden in Santa Cruz and gave me one straight from the vine. I started liking veggies then!

Sorry your kids came out so rotten. It's so not fair to you! ;)

i raised oldest here with mostly what ever we ate and that was pancake , eggs, turkey bacon, or sausage that's why I need to lose again, lol but he not into oatmeal unless its cold out same with me and hubby we like that in winter, rest she always got them that fancy stuff I don't buy it just cheerios, and cornflakes and chex is what we buy with out all that added sugar. yea when we were little my mom she did same with the 9 of us we all had to eat same thing it was either cornmeal mush or cream of wheat or oatmeal , we never lived out of a can veggie or store stuff we always had a huge garden and she would can from aug till end ogf garden season. fish was what we kids caught out of rivers, and wild rabbits,

nope I didn't spoil them they come that way,lol

You actually make them individual breakfasts? Are you crazy? I say, make a big batch of oatmeal, and reheat individual servings as they wake up.

When I was a kid, all six of us kids were woken up at the same time and grabbed our own bowl of cereal for breakfast.

yea I just have to wait until everyone wakes up different times of morning and then have to stop every time that happens fix each different meal, that drives me nuts,
here the weather turned already warm yuck,back to watering garden

Well, running after those grand-kids will burn some calories!! Sorry to hear you got stuck with them...again. Hope you can take care of yourself, despite it all!

The job is good, and the weather has been lovely. Low 70s today. Cloudy this morning, but it burned off by the time we hiked out of the trees and into a clearing. It was perfect!

We hiked 2 1/2 hours today, so I'm feeling pretty good (and tired).

SHE"S LOST - lol not sure have not even seen her on facebook when I check in.
I have been doing a lot of walking but not on a job,i have been dumped with DD kids again and I am tired out trying to take care of myself and them only have 3 out of the 5 but I still need to run after them.
well how's that old job treating you? how's the weather here we got a little rain and ha cooled down for the weekend but Monday - Friday it will get hot as blazes again.

yeah , one of us has to be proud so we both can be proud of each other and their accomplishments.
yea still have not figure out why I was not hungr but i think it was i was pined in house becuse of rain all morning and I was just tired from pushing the exercises hard, todays back to being me.

You ate almost nothing yesterday! And with all the water in the melon, I can see why you went to the restroom so much - you got way more than your normal amount of water!

My hubby didn't walk with me much, before he retired, too. He did physical work, so I understood. But I was bummed that I didn't get to walk yesterday. Making up for it today - have already walked about an hour, and may go for another walk when it cools down.

You'd be proud of me. After my (news) part-time office job, I walked around, did errands, then came home to eat and take a nap. Still got to do a little work this evening - just the minimum though.

Yes, kick Janet in the rear for both of us emoticon

that's exercise least your not setting and working full time on your computer,
that sounded like a nice walk you had with hubby mine wont even do that he says gets enough walking out on farm,
I have been hitting it hard, yesterday was a ruffle day for me, lol I didn't feel like eating breakfast so just had banana but I did all my exercises thought I would be hungry by lunch but at lunch still was not eating just had a cup of watermelon , went back to exercises and at 5 p.m I heard a loud growl so ate at 5 instead of 6 like use to , then had 1 cup melon at 7 p.m was still hungry but decided that was it bed time was coming up. I did drink all my water though got in 4 litters of water yesterday and I don't know how many trips to bath room emoticon
today started out normal got up and the lion was roaring to eat first did my early walk .
then come home had my oatmeal and banana and drinking my water oh have a 16 oz of cold coffee setting right in front of me right now yuck.
well I am on rest break before my next time up to do more exs.
I guess I will need to go chase poor Janeyteee out of her office - shes as bad as you work, work work , then home to fix supper for her little one ,
well have a Grr -ate day. emoticon

Well, I'm eating well about every other day. Now it's time to step it up to almost every day, then EVERY day.

Hubby and I went out for adventure yesterday. Thought I'd get a good walk in, but no. It seems the place we decided to explore ended up being privately owned, as so much of nature is up here. So 3 hours of driving and no trails to walk.

Aim to get two half-hour walks in today, at least. One before work, and one this evening after it cools down.

Night - you need to eat more mainly because you exercise more than Lynn. The less you exercise the less you should eat!

Well today is a crappy weather day. Cloudy, dreary and rainy - yuk!

Night way to go on your exercises! Lynn way to go on your food! One square of dark chocolate is pretty good to me!

that's less than what I eat, I would drop over dead or raid a farmers cow patch on that amount. lol
that 1/2 hours good it still adds up by end of week to 150 min.
I ate 1,579.8 calories but walked 192 min was - 48 min of my goal just plum wore out,
of course I could of opened a can of spinach and drowned that down emoticon .
but I also met my other goal of step ups /boxing 1,500 emoticon
lets see today all play and no work for me need to get in as many exercise min as can for teams LCW. care to help me out?
well have a nice day got to run don't work to hard , there"s flowers out there to stop and smell once in while, of course you might get a few bugs but......

Well, I actually ate well today! And I walked - only about 1/2 hour, but since I ate better, I'm happy. I feel like I'm off the obsessive eating cycle, for now, at least.

Protein smoothie for breakfast, chicken breast sandwich for lunch, and salad with chicken breast for dinner. Did not snack today, and will have fruit and cottage cheese for dessert. Oh, I ate one square of dark chocolate - I guess I did snack a little emoticon

wow I got 88 minutes left to do then my goals done I accomplished one goal in between my walks, its the 1,500 step up my first time to complete the full goal emoticon mm emoticon ,
don't all that walking at work and then going home bother you yet? still in therapy or did they kick you rear out because you where to ornery for them. emoticon

240 minutes in one day??? I do NOT have that much time to devote to exercising. I try to get it in where I can. I walk to and from the bus stop and I walk for part of my lunch time. I usually do a workout video after dinner, which is usually 30 minutes. Every once in a while I will do a 60 minute workout.

Night the 30 day shred is by Jillian Michaels - the personal trainer from the Biggest Loser. She is rough and tough. I am still on Level 1 of the shred and I am kinda skeered to go to Level 2. I have done it before but it is intense. I have never done Level 3 yet and I am totally skeered of that one!

GOODMORNING Ladies I went out for a early walk but almost didn't make it today , I forgot to wash my cloths this weekend, well I could of still got in my streaker anyway emoticon .
for breakfast today I had 1/2 cup of blue berries , and my oatmeal with little cinn and butter on it.
well now need to get in my steps for goal, and other exercises yet.
want to join me,
my goal is today- 240 min , again. minus the 25 I did this morning emoticon so that leaves just 215 min to go , lovely is it not? emoticon
eat right and light.
and drink my water.
