I agree with the last post about doing what works for you. I liked doing the p90x/Insanity hybrid...shaunT and tony go together surprisingly well... emoticon play no matter what you do Bring it!

Hi Live n Learn - wow. I hope your finger is ok - getting better. Sounds like that was a recent event, huh?

Can you do P90X every other day? Hey - you can do what ever you want! Just adjust your expectations to your effort. If you're doing P180X (P90X every other day) you won't get the same results - at least as quickly.

It depends on what you do on the other days. If you did Insanity on the other days, for example, you might accelerate your results. But I know what you are saying. Your finger is throbbing and you are wise to dial it back to let it heal.

As Tony says, do your best, forget the rest. You are developing a lifestyle of exercise and fitness. Be sure your finger heals. You'll have a lifetime to do P90X.

That's my opinion. What do some of you others think?

I was doing p90x for a straight month. I did great :) i lost 9 pounds AND 3 inches around my while body. But then i cut a chunk out of my finger at work. It hurt when it happend but it hurt worse when it was in the healing process. My hand was throbbing like CRAZY, so i gave up p90x for a week. I didnt wanna give up p90x.. but my body was in shock from my finger. Through out that week i didnt realize how depressed i got. I was walking around the lake.. but my eating wasnt on best. Just a week of not doing p90x and starting up again for 4 days starting at day 1.. i STILL managed to gain a few inches around my waist, hips and chest. PLUS gained 5 pounds.

So, what im trying to get at is.. Do you have to do p90x everyday??? Because i was planning on doing p90x every other day and doing other workouts. Not ONLY to keep it fun and interesting, but because my goal isint to get totally fit in 90 days. Im doing p90x to mix up my workouts. I dont wanna lose a bunch of weight real fast and have saggy skin, PLUS probably gain a little bit of it back because your not doing such intense workouts after those 90 days. Or is this program MENT for consistency??
