Thanks so much - I'll be praying for you as well.

I too am trying to get back on track after a really big slump. It's hard, but with encouragement, I know i can get back on track and stay healthy. Cookies are my biggest downfall, especially the chocolate chip kind. I'm just doing the best I can and I'm going to think like the little engine that could. :-)

I am not dieting. Yes, I would like to lose weight, but I am trying to get healthy is my main goal. Trying to figure out my digestive issues, and chronic vertigo issues/ migraines. Be blessed and have a wonderful day. Love, Julie

Thanks for the words of encouragement - they help me keep on track and keep me motivated. I'm doing my best to keep on track and keep track of my food - it's hard for me to do when I have school and homework to do, but I'm doing my best.


Hope all is well with your dieting (or whichever you'd prefer to call it) endeavors. I will do my best to post on here at least once a day to help me stay focused.

I have a hard time keeping track of all of my food due to my lack of motivation. I am also learning to keep a positive and optimistic view on life. Depression may forever be a part of me, but I'm not going to let it take me down. I've found that if I'm on medication for it, it makes my depression worse. I'm also going to start exercising more often and snack less - I figured that might also help in a big way.

Although I do not have depression, my husband does and on medication. When he has his "days", I am always at fault and accept the blame for whatever reason states. I am put down, called horrible names, and often threatened he will "do something" to me he does have a temper, and thing get thrown and broke sometime. . When he is like this I try to avoid being around him but he follows me to whatever room I'm in and begins screaming at me while I'm forced to listen to all his issues and put downs. There are more bad days than good. divorice is out of the question, we can't afford it and I am jobless. No one to stay overnight with. Over the years-we have been married a long time- I gained a lot of weight. I was 135 lbs , reached 325+ and now 227 lbs. I've been struggleing with my weight. I seem to be more in control, but when the yelling starts I become stressed and want to binge again when he is not around. Otherwise he is a good husband, have a moderate home and get along some of the time. Am I alone or are there other in Sparkland like me?
