~2 cups water
~3 ice cubes
--2 fruits (mainly these: half frozen banana, 1 cup frozen blueberries, 1 cup fresh or frozen organic strawberries, 1 small granny smith apple, 1 small orange)
--2 veggies -- one greens (like: 1 cup frozen spinach, 2 cups fresh kale, 1 zucchini)
and one sugary (like: 1 large carrot, 1 medium golden or red beet)
1/2 scoop vanilla whey protein (sometimes 1 scoop if eating less protein rest of day)
2 TB ground flax
1 TB of undutched cocoa powder mixed with cinnamon 50:50
1/2 TB metamucil type fiber
Sometimes I also add a 1/2 cup kefir (liquid yogurt, basically) or plain greek yogurt.

The above with carrot-apple-blueberries-spinach and 1/2 cup Fage 0% fat greek yogurt has the following nutrition (but you subtract the 24g fiber for an efective carb count of 41g):

Best Hot Chocolate Mix

2 cups Carnation powdered milk
1 cup Splenda granular
1/2 cup Hershey's cocoa powder
1 (4 serving) pkg. sugar-free/fat-free vanilla instant pudding mix
1 teaspoon cinnamon (or more)

This makes about 3 1/4 cups of mix (13 servings). To make an individual serving, use 1/4 cup mix and one cup of hot water.
One serving is 60 calories/.5 gr fat/.5 gr fiber

1/3 cup FF powedered milk
1 pkg. SF raspberry jello powder

12 oz. cold water
1 cup crushed ice


Blend water, jello powder and powdered milk until smooth and frothy

add frozen blueberries blend until smooth
add crushed ice and blend until smooth.

This makes a big delicious low point smoothie.

**It also counts as 3 fruit/veg servings and 1 milk serving.

TWO SMOOTHIES

1 c. skim milk
2 T. SF FF instant pudding
1/2 t. vanilla extract
1 heaping T. FF Cool Whip
8 ice cubes

Blend in blender until smooth. This is SOOOO good and very low in points. I make it with white chocolate-flavored pudding. Tastes just like a Sonic shake to me!

Pumpkin Pie Shake

2 cups vanilla reduced-fat ice cream (such as Healthy Choice), softened
1 cup fat-free milk
2/3 cup canned pumpkin
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 teaspoon pumpkin-pie spice
3 tablespoons frozen fat-free whipped topping, thawed
Pumpkin-pie spice (optional)


Combine first 5 ingredients in a blender; process until smooth. Pour 3/4 cup ice cream mixture into each of 4 glasses. Top each with about 2 teaspoons whipped topping; sprinkle with the additional pumpkin-pie spice, if desired.

Yield: 4 servings

Hungrygirl Chocolate banana Smoothie

Ingredients:
1 packet Swiss Miss Sensible Sweets diet hot cocoa mix
1 small ripe banana, sliced and frozen
2 tsp. fat-free non-dairy powdered creamer (like Coffee-mate Fat Free Original)
1 tsp. mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 no-calorie sweetener packet (like Splenda or Truvia)
1 cup crushed ice or 5 to 8 ice cubes

Directions:
In a tall glass, combine cocoa mix, powdered creamer, chocolate chips, and sweetener. Add 1/4 cup very hot water and stir until ingredients have dissolved. Add 1/2 cup cold water and stir.

Transfer contents of the glass to a blender. Add frozen banana slices and ice. Blend at medium speed until completely mixed. Pour into your glass and enjoy!

1 cup black coffee

2 servings sf DaVinci syrup

Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend.

I just made it. It was just okay (to my taste).
But it sure filled me up because it made 4 cups of liquid and I got one serving of dairy out of it too.

I bought some dark chocolate silken tofu last week and made the BEST shake from it. First of all, you would never know you were not eating very rich dark choc. pudding vs. a tofu based product. I mixed it in my single serve blender with about 3/4 cup of vanilla soy milk and some crushed ice...blended...and YUM! I also tried the strawberry this am and added a banana to it...again...Delicious

Carmelized Espresso Frappe

1/2 cup boiling water
1 teaspoon instant espresso or 2 teaspoons instant coffee granules
1/4 cup sugar subsitute
1/4 cup water, divided
1 cup skim milk
1 packet sf hot cocoa mix
1 cup crushed ice

Combine boiling water and espresso; stir until coffee dissolves. Pour into an ice cube tray; freeze 4 hours or until firm.
Combine sugar sub. and 2 tablespoons water in a small heavy saucepan over medium heat; cook until sugar dissolves. Continue cooking an additional 5 minutes or until golden. Remove from heat; carefully stir in 2 tablespoons water with a whisk (mixture will bubble vigorously). Let cool.

Combine sugar sub, milk, and cocoa mix in a blender; process until well-blended. With blender on, add coffee ice cubes, 1 at a time; process until smooth. Add crushed ice; process until smooth. Serve immediately.

Yield: 2 1/2 cups (serving size: 1/2 cup)

Instructions:

you can add
a half a banana for another point

Strawberry Cheesecake Shake

Ingredients

1/2 cup 1% Milk
1/2 cup Lowfat 1% Cottage Cheese
6-8 packets of Splenda (or sweeten to taste)
2 cups (300 grams) Strawberries, frozen, unsweetened

Directions

• Place Milk, cottage cheese and Splenda in blender and blend until smooth (about 30 seconds.)
• Add frozen strawberries one or two at a time, blending until smooth after each addition.
• This is large enough to share with 2 people... but I can drink the entire shake myself!
• Try it with frozen blueberries, mixed berries or peaches. WONDERFUL!!! The key is to blend the milk and cottage cheese until smooth before adding your fruit.
• You can also adjust the cottage cheese from 1/2 cup to 1/3 cup.
• TIP: You must blend the cottage cheese until smooth before adding the frozen fruit.

These look delicious but I wonder how many points they have. I am new to ww and am using the points goal.
I am so new to this and without the points I am always afraid to try a new receipt. I will get it one day I think. lol

Home made Smoothies mix

Vanilla
1/4 c nonfat dry milk powder
2 Tbps Splenda
1 tsp vanilla(added with other liquids)

Chocolate
1/4 c nonfat dry milk powder
3 Tbps Splenda
1 tsp unsweetened cocoa

Strawberry
1/4 c nonfat dry milk powder
2 Tbsp Splenda
1 tsp strawberry extract

Add about (or less) one cup of ice for a thicker smoothie.

Double Blueberry Smoothie

1 /4 cup milk
6-ounce container blueberry yogurt
2 cups frozen blueberries (if using fresh, freeze them for two hours)
Dash of cinnamon

Put milk and blueberry yogurt in a blender. Add blueberries and cinnamon. Blend until smooth.

Two Cappucino Mix recipes

Here's one of them I found, (you could sub Splenda for the sugar to bring down the calories and maybe SF hot chocolate or SF chocolate milk mix)

1 cup powdered non-dairy creamer
1 cup instant chocolate drink mix
3/4 cup instant coffee granules
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

In a medium sized glass jar, combine the non-dairy creamer, chocolate drink mix, instant coffee, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg; mix well.
To prepare, place 2 tablespoons mix in a mug, pour in 3/4 cup boiling water, and stir until dissolved. Serve hot.

Here's a similar one...maybe use flavored coffee creamer in part of the batch so you can have different ones available to you...

1/3 cup dry milk powder
2/3 cup white sugar
2/3 cup powdered non-dairy creamer
1/3 cup instant coffee granules

In a mixing bowl combine powdered milk, sugar, coffee creamer and instant coffee granules. Store in an air tight container.
To prepare beverage, stir 2 to 3 teaspoons of mix into 1 cup of hot water.

Pumpkin Smoothies: Three recipes

PUMPKIN PIE SMOOTHIE
1 C. skim milk
handful of ice
1/3 C. canned pumpkin
dash of vanilla, cinnamon
packet of Splenda

PUMPKIN SOY SMOOTHIE
1/2 c. pumpkin puree
1 c. vanilla soy milk
3 tbsp splenda
vanilla extract (to taste)
pumpkin pie seasoning (to taste)
1/2 c. ice

BANANA PUMPKIN SMOOTHIE

1 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
3/4 cup canned pumpkin, chilled
1/2 cup ice cubes
1/3 cup fresh orange juice
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Dash of ground cloves
1 ripe banana, sliced and frozen
Dash of ground cinnamon (optional)


Combine yogurt and next 8 ingredients (through banana) in a blender, and process until smooth. Garnish with dash of ground cinnamon, if desired. Serve immediately.


Yield: 2 servings (serving size: about 1 cup)

CALORIES 218 FAT 2.2g FIBER 5.5g

Three Hot Cocoa Mix recipes


Weight Watchers Hot Chocolate Mix recipe
Makes 32 servings

Ingredients
3 cups confectioners' sugar
3 cups nonfat dry milk powder
2 cups miniature marshmallows
1 cup non-dairy powdered coffee creamer
1 cup cocoa powder
4 teaspoons cinnamon

Preparation
1. Mix all ingredients together well.
2. Store in an airtight container.
3. To serve, place 1/4 cup mix in cup and add 3/4 cup hot milk, stirring until mix is well blended.

WW POINTS per serving: 2
Nutritional information per serving: 117 calories, 1.5g fat, 1.1g fiber

Apricot Peach Smoothies

1 can (5-1/2 oz) apricot nectar
1 med. banana; frozen & cut into chunks
1 c. (8oz) fat-free vanilla yogurt

6 ice cubes

In a blender or food processor combine all the ingredients. Copver and process until smooth. Pour into chilled glasses and serve immediately. Yield - 4 servings.

1 can (20 oz) unsweetened pineapple chunks, undrained

Drain pineapple, reserving 1/2 c. juice. Freeze pineapple chunks. Place juice, buttermilk, vanilla, sweetener and frozen pineapple into a blender container. Cover and process until smooth. Pour into glasses and garnish with mint if desired. serve immediately. Yield 5 servings.

NI: 3/4 c. equals 80 calories, race fat, 1g fiber

2 cartons (6 oz each) pina colada or pineapple yogurt.
1 c. Fat-free milk
1 can (11 oz) mandarin oranges, drained

17 to 20 ice cubes

In a blender, combine the first six ingredients, cover and process until smooth. While processing, add a few ice cubes at a time until mixture achieves desired thickness. Pour into chilled glasses; serve immediately. Yield 5 servings.

It was 96 when I went out yesterday. Trying to eat healthier makes it harder to pick a cool refreshing snack or dessert, so I tried out some new smoothies. This is one I LOVE! It taste just like an Almond Joy candy bar, well almost! lol! Anyone can go to a Weight Watchers meeting and buy smoothies unless the site is a privately owned. I like to use the Weight Watchers smoothies because they are loaded with dairy and when added with fat free milk, you can count the drink as your 2 dairy servings. I am also going to give you a recipe that you can make it without using the Weight Watcher smoothie mix. At my site, for the next couple of weeks the smoothie boxes are on sale for $5.00 they are usually $7.50 a box and the box has 7 packets in it. I hope you enjoy this cool treat! BTW, I do not like the smoothies unless I add something to it. This was wonderful!

Almond Joy Smoothie
1 Weight Watchers Chocolate Smoothie Mix
1 cup fat free milk
1/2 tsp almond extract
1/2 tsp coconut extract
8 ice cubes
Mix all of the ingredients in the blender and enjoy!


Almond Joy Smoothie #2
1 c. ff milk
1/2 small pkg. ff sf choc. pudding mix
1/2 teaspoon coconut extract
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
8 ice cubes
Mix all of the ingredients in a blender and enjoy!
(I have not made this particular smoothie with the sugar free fat free pudding, but I have had other smoothies with it and they are wonderful!)

Blender Quick Chocolate Ice "Cream"
(For Chocolate Eclairs and for pastry cases on pg 27)

1/4 c. chilled evaporated skimmed milk
1/3 c. instant non-fat dry milk
Artificial sweetner to = 6 tea. sugar
1 tea. chocolate extract
a few drops walnut or maple extract (optional)
Brown Food Coloring
6-8 ice cubes

Combine milks, sweeteners and extracts in blender; whip at low speed until smooth, carefully add food coloring to make chocolate brown. With blender on high speed, add ice cubes, one at a time making certain each cube is incorporated in mixture before adding the next one. Transfer to freezing tray for 1/2 hour. Serve at once or keep frozen and let soften 10 minutes before use.

Makes 4 servings.
Count 3 fluid ounces skim milk for each serving.

I just had such a delicious smoothie. I think I got 4 servings of milk in this smoothie!

DELICIOUS CHOCOLATE SMOOTHIE - 4 servings of dairy in ONE serving!

Note!
If you want only 3 servings of dairy, substitute the soy/skim milk with 8 ounces water.


1/3 cup part skim riccota cheese (one serving of dairy)
1/4 cup dry non fat milk (one serving of milk)
1 cup soy milk, or fat free milk (one serving of dairy)
2 TBS. dry, sugar free, fat free instant chocolate pudding (one serving of dairy)
1 tsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
Splenda or stevia to taste

Mix all in blender and enjoy!

This refreshing smoothie is a great energy builder after a workout or as a snack anytime! It's packed with good nutrition – a whole day's worth of vitamin C and a healthy dose of bone-building calcium – as well as great taste. Enjoy!

2 medium Sunkist oranges, peeled, cut into bite-size pieces (1 cup)
1 cup plain low-fat or nonfat yogurt
1 cup fruit, your choice, cut into bite-size pieces: bananas; fresh or frozen strawberries; mango, etc.
1 tablespoon honey or 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup crushed ice

Makes 4 cups.
Place all ingredients, except ice, in a food processor or blender and process until smooth. Add ice, blend briefly and serve.

La La Latte Smoothie

1 cup skim milk
1 envelope French Vanilla Smoothie Mix
½ cup fiber One
1 tbsp PB-2
1 tbsp sugar free hazelnut syrup
½ cup Blue Bunny Sugar Free Brownie Sundae Ice Cream
Approx 1½ cups ice

Blend milk, PB-2, Smoothie Mix, and syrup. Add cereal and blend until smooth. Add ice cream, blend. Add ice and blend to desired consistency.

Inexpensive Smoothie Mix "formula"

I've tried it yesterday and it was so delicious!

Instead of buying an expensive box of Smoothies packages, here is a "formula" for making your own Smoothies, very inexpensive.

Creamy Fruit Smoothie
From Carnation

Dry milk adds texture and protein without fat or a lot of calories.
Try this easy concoction with your favorite fruit: Strawberries, blackberries,bananas, kiwifruit,peaches or cherries, for example.
A healthy alternative to the traditional milk shake.

4 servings
(to make 1 serving, divide by 4)

INGREDIENTS

3 cups fruit, fresh, frozen, unsweetened or canned (drained)
1 1/3 cups (3.2 ounces envelope) Carnation dry milk
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup ice cubes
2 tablespoons granulated sugar (or Splenda or Stevia to taste)
1 teaspoon vannila extract

Notes!

1. I added 1 TBS. sugar free, fat free DaVinchi syrup (0 calories)
They come in in a bottle, in many flavores, such as hazelnut, cappuchini, vanila, caramel, amaretto, gingerbread and many more...
I buy it in Marshal's or T.J. Max.

2. Instead of 1/2 cup water I added 1 cup soy milk (or skim milk) and a little more ice cubes.
That gave me 2 SERVINGS of DAIRY in one Smoothie!

DIRECTIONS

Place all ingredients in a blender: cover: Blend until smooth.

Note: For a tropical sensation, use a mixture of mango, papaya and pineapple.

STRAWBERRIES & CRÈME ZAPPACCINO
2 points per serving

2/3 C frozen strawberries (not the ones in syrup)
5 oz. light vanilla soy milk
2 tsp. Fat Free French Vanilla Coffee-mate powder (dissolved in an oz of warm water)
1 oz. Sugar Free Torani Strawberry Syrup
3 Splenda packets
3 large ice cubes
Fat Free Reddi-Wip

Place all but Reddi Whip in blender & blend on high speed for 30-45 sec. One 12-oz serving @ 2 Healthy Units; 135 cal, 1 g fat, 2.5 g fiber, 4 g protein

VANILLA THRILLA (MOCK STARBUCKS VANILLA FRAPPACINO)

Ingredients:

5 oz. light vanilla soymilk
3 tsp. Fat Free French Vanilla Coffee-mate powder: dissolved in 1 oz. warm water
1 flat tsp. instant coffee
1 oz. Torani or DaVinci Sugar Free Vanilla Syrup
3 packets Splenda
1 cup ice; crushed
2 tbsp. Fat Free Reddi-wip

Directions:

Place all of the ingredients in blender, except for the Reddi-wip. Blend on high speed until well blended. Pour into a tall glass, and finish off with whipped topping. A vanilla dream!

This is a 6 point smoothie but I drink it for breakfast every morning and I feel that a 6 point breakfast isn't bad when it is healthy, I guess it depends on how many points you are allowed. Anyway here goes.

1 c. fat free plain yogurt
1/4 c egg beaters (can't taste it]
handful or handful and a half of frozen fruit in blender.

You get your fruit, protein and the goodness of yogurt all in one meal.

3-4 drops of peppermint extract

A quick pick-me-up! Prep Time: 5 min
1 serving
3 WW points

Ingredients:

1/2 cup fat free milk
1/2 cup pineapple or other tropical-flavored juice
1/2 cup cubed frozen tropical fruit (mango, papaya and/or pineapple)
1/4 banana
1 packet No Sugar Added Classic French Vanilla Flavor NESTLÉ (ore splenda, stevia...)

FUJI APPLE SMOOTHIE

2 Fuji apples ( without seeds and stem, cut into pieces)
1 cup Vanilla Soyslender milk

Wow! HG's citrus concoction tastes just like an Orange Julius. Mmmmm...

- 3 oz. Langer's Diet Orange Juice Concentrate
- 2-3 packets of Splenda
- 1/2 cup light soy milk (regular or vanilla)
- 1/2 cup water
- 4 ice cubes
- 1 tsp. vanilla

Blend until smooth. Makes one 85 calorie beverage. (2 pts.)
