I have started juicing again. I got a Nutribullet a couple of weeks ago and am loving it. I am able to get in more than my share of fruits and vegetables.

I think blueberries are one of my favourite foods.. Have you tried the purple potatoes? They have a different taste that regular white potatoes. I like them best just boiled with a little seasoning. I will have to see if I can find purple carrots.

I agree with you about not needing to eat a lot to feel satisfied. Brightest blessings and warm hugs.

Allisonic, it is so easy to make your own sprouts! try to get some seeds if you can from Whole foods store, all you need is some cheese cloth and a rubber band and an empty glass jar and a tablespoon of alfalfa seeds. follow the instructions to the t though as far as draining them and the correct procedure for rinsing them and the temperature .......for sprouting the seeds or you could get sick from them.

but it is so worth it to grow your own in your own pantry. it only takes a couple of days like , 3 or 4 days. and if you start a batch every day you can have a fresh batch to use every day and they are so good on sandwiches and in salads.

xo happy harvesting!

oh i have tried it. some are better than others. i like them a little smoother so you have to try a few till you find one that you like best. very nutritious for you. like p-nut butter good on celery and apples!

I always keep lots of nut butter on hand. I keep them in case of emergencies like if we run out of power, like when there is a hurricane or blizzard predicted .

This is exciting! I eat a lot of those foods on a daily basis, trying to get enough mufas and omegas. I am allergic to milk, so I use soymilk. I can manage yogurt if I let it warm up before I eat it.

With the peanut scare there I have seen different types of nut butters being sold. They are a little pricey but would be a nice change from peanut butter.

I don't use peanuts because they aren't a nut but a super fatty legume. Other nuts and nut butters would be better like walnut, macadamia, cashew and more I can't think of right now. Are you vegan? I find yogurt and oatmeal for breakfast keeps me satisfied almost til dinner.

Nuts are a healthy fat and good for you and they can help you from getting so hungry. They've done tests on people who eat peanuts or peanut butter 30 minutes before their meal and they don't eat as much. But if you eat it as part of a meal you're less likely to get hungry so quickly before the next time you eat.

I haven't tried a soy butter, but that's because peanut does it well enough for me. Or nutella. Either way I get more protein with less fats from other foods, so I don't eat nut butters much.

Reach 150 lbs and get a new dress.

Reach 130? Go visit Rosso in Italy and finally see her baby too :)

I have an intolerance for most soy products I'm afraid and being on the pill I am more sensitive to the phytoestrogens which drives my PMS up the wall and I get really moody and such. I can tolerate soy in a protein shake mix if it's blended with whey protein like in Slim Fast though.

soy milk counts as soy if it's got soy in it or made from soy it's soy (except soya sauce) too high in salt lol.

I eat yogurt almost daily, usually with flax seed in it and usually probiotics too. If bananas are a superfood woohoo I eat them almost daily!

The rest I gotta work in when I can afford them.

I've been eating a yogurt every day in the morning (my summer attempts at vegan@home failed, if I'd eat it in a restaurant I may as well not deprive myself of it at home) and that seems to have helped me lose 2 pounds that seemed to be pretty stubborn but have suddenly come off. It has to be the bacteria from the yogurt, the pro-biotic stuff, helping my digestion. Or at least I hypothesize that. Berries, I've been drinking Berry Boost from Bolthouse Farms, found it at Walmart in the produce area. A little thick but tasty and useful in protein smoothies.

Vegetarian so I'm getting beans nearly every day.

I'm not sure if soy milk counts as getting soy, I think the tofu counts more in that...

I've got unsalted nuts and avacados for whenever I crave them. Just waiting for the avacados to soften at the moment... Otherwise I'd of put some into a sandwich by now.

Got a sack of spinach for salads in the fridge.

I wanted alfalfa sprouts for a sandwich but Walmart was out. :( I usually don't shop there, but the budget is demanding it at the moment.(Try sprouts, sliced pear, and baby bell spreadable party cubes cheese and Dijon mustard on wheat bread, yummy!)
