I'm Paul I live in Bloomington and a bit about myself I started to get serious about losing weight about Sept. last year after a talk with a Dr. at the V.A. about having the weight loss surgery I was supposed to have several years ago and it fell through the cracks of whatever it could fall through. I worked hard and started to log food on fitday walked in the MOA on the 3rd floor and started to drop weight and the Dr was happy at the start I was over 490 lbs 62 waist pants and was not even able to use the treadmill at the gym because I made the motor overheat and smoke. I did promise to try though and so I did long story shortened I am now part of a pilot program for all U.S. Vets worldwide that are overweight run by the V.A. only 6 were chosen all in the twin cities area and 5 are still active I have the highest weight loss numbers and am very happy to say that but have worked hard for them. I am new to this site and really don't know how to adjust calorie numbers but I stay on a 1200 calorie per day intake take my total body weight and divide by 2 and that is my zero calorie fluid intake for the day minimum in oz and on a pedometer I try to do a minimum of 15000 steps per day plus what weight lifting and core work I have a black card membership at planet fitness so I can sign in a guest feel free to ask to join me I also walk at the Mn river valley from Old Cedar Ave. I'm slow but can go a long way hehe. Well I am at 329 now so I think I'm doing pretty good in a short period of time really just looking for more support and more options and ideas because who ever had too much good?
