My take on that has to do with the fiber and keep in mind you are eating a single serving of cereal and milk for two meals. It isn't "a bowl" it is a serving. Look at the calorie count in the servings and compare that you normally eat for bfast and lunch. And, the fiber does make a big difference as well. I can't bring myself to eat the same meal, 2 times a day for 14 days. I don't think I'd make it.

I'm not doing the diet, but i have it for breakfast occasionally.... the reason it works is bc of fiber! Once the body gets 30g of fiber you body absorbs only 20% of what you eat after the 30g of fiber. i know there is 9g of fiber in 3/4 of the fiber plus cereal.... high fiber helps you lose weight bc it helps push food out quicker so you wont sit in the body longer... ;)
