Any help you want to offer is welcome! I'm going to start posting some new topics here under the general team discussion to try to get more people to chit-chat and get to know each other. The more people that start chatting in there and friending each other, the more likely we can actually get some people to turn out for an event or meet-and-greet. We also have a monthly challenge going for tracking miles walked/ran/biked/etc. and that has some participation. Since joining in on that thread, I've definitely increased my mileage!
The members of our team are very active, just not so much in our forums. We are actually the #2 SparkAmerica city right now in both monthly Fitness Minutes and SparkPoints:

ty=Minneapolis Right now, I go through new members about once a week and make sure to welcome them on their SparkPages and try to nudge them into the forums and introduce themselves. Usually, I can only access a fraction of them, since a lot of people have their privacy settings too tight to contact. But, when I can, I do.
Everything is pretty standard, and not really just for Team Leaders: giving the best welcome we can to new members, commenting on blogs/SparkPages and keeping everyone motivated, etc. If you have any ideas on how to increase the forum participation, please let me know.
