She said that she thought it was great for shorter hair. Perhaps collar bone or shorter. My hair goes past my bra band. It is really long. I would like to get a quality flat iron.

Mandie - I've seen the Instyler and while I thought it looked so great to make blow drying easier, I had a feeling my hair was too long and would get tangled. Thanks for posting your hairstylist's opinion, totally confirms my fears!

Oh, no wonder I didn't know what it was - I never mastered even brushing and blow drying my hair at the same time!

I've given up with trying to make my hair do anything it doesn't want to do by itself, LOL - I have it cut in layers to enhance the curl, and I don't even brush it anymore.
