Okay good - the weekend challenge will be PERFECT for me right now as that is when I lose momentum and get off schedule, and want treats. Looking forward to it!

I love being part of excitement.... it makes me excited! *giggle*

Ok, I'll lead the East Coast Weekend Challenges, and a little later today, I'll create a Sticky Post for the thread, so it always appears at the top of the list in that section.

Spark on!! Woo-hoo!

This is exciting!! Jo can lead the team on the weekend challenge. We need some more co leaders. Is there a member of the team that would be interested in posting an inspirational thought daily? Together we can be strong and accomplish our goals!!! Keep sharing how we can be a great team and help each other. Sonia

I love the idea of challenges and would welcome challenges for exercising and also the snacking and mindless eating. I am finding the evenings/nights is the time that I will reach for food "mindless eating".

Seaglassqueen - I am so happy you decided to join and become a co-leader emoticon emoticon
This is an amazing group of wonderful people, always full of support and encouragement. I think the challenges will be very beneficial and will help keep us on track and motivated. I just added you as a friend and look forward to getting to know you. I quickly looked at your Spark Page and OMG you are an INSPIRATION !! emoticon emoticon I welcome any tips/advice anytime.

And as for Jo as co - leader. What a terrific idea!!!

Weekends are really hard for me to stick to my plan, especially for eating fruits & veggies. I've just started working on the Weekend Survival strategy, but it's slow going, and I feel like I don't have enough oomph to do it for 2 whole days. Exercising on the weekends is a HUGE challenge for me, especially in the winter. So I'm suggesting an East Coast Weekend Challenge, where we could come up with workable and doable challenges that will help us stay the course on the weekends. I used to be a part of the Weekend Survival sparkteam, and that's how they did it -- issued a weekend challenge by Thursday, people would commit to the challenge on the list, and then report back on Monday on the results. I'm open to other suggestions on how to do the challenges, since this is the only model I've seen.

Co-Leader? Really?? *beaming* I'd love to!

Jo

Can you elaborate on what you mean by a weekend challenge. As well, I noticed that you are an excellent communicator. Will you join me as a co leader?

I would like to see a Weekend Challenge, something that would start on Friday afternoon until Monday morning.

I also love the logging miles to an Atlantic Canadian location! We could walk to each others' cities! :-D

Hi team! Please share with me your ideas for team challenges. Think of what you want to accomplish. For myself, I need to control my snacking. Another team member suggested we all log miles to a maritime location. What are your weight loss goals for the year?
