Very true it does get harder the older you get but you're never too old!
My mother 56yrs old lost so much weight, she's had 4 kids and after doing weight watchers weighs the same she did before she was pregnant with her first 115lbs. My mother in law 62yrs old is doing Herbal Magic, she's lost almost 60lbs. For her to do that just amazed me because she was a yo-yo dieter. I'm so proud of both of them and are a great motivator for me. I mean if they can why not me and anyone else!
WE CAN DO IT!!!!

Good for you. You're doing so well. When your young it's time to kick the problem in the butt. After I had my children I also had to get serious but it doesn't get any easier as you get older. It's a continues battle. Keep up the good work. Diane

Hi, I'm Christine from Moncton too. It's true you do have to set yourself with small goals. You will have greater success if done this way.
I started with cutting out certain junk foods of my house. Making a list of groceries and sticking to it, making sure I ate before I went to buy groceries makes a huge difference in what I buy.
Planning out what I eat for supper everyday of the week helped me too.
For exercise start small and work your way up. It gets easier with time and you get in a routine too.
We're here if you need us!
Take care!!!

Hi I'm Diane and I live in Moncton. I started in May last year and it's been great. You can't look at how much you need to lose just look at 10 lbs at a time and start with small things. I started with only having fruits or light yogurt after summer, which is my worst time of the day. Then I started walking at least 15 min. a day. I recorded everything I did and that way the most motivating thing I did. I would look at how many points I accumulated per day and I would try to do better the next. I found I would exercise more to get more points. All I can say is start with baby steps and do them every day. Good luck.

Hi - I joined SP in December, and I'm ashamed to say that its taken me this long to get my head round "this is it"!!! I feel overwhelmed by how much I need to lose, and get upset just thinking of how long its going to take me. I know I need to cut back on the naughty stuff, but its the motivation that I'm totally lacking. I just need to be fired up, but so far theres not even a spark - HELP!!!!

The world can be your oyster, but first you have to open the shell!
