Hi, I'm Christine from Moncton too. It's true you do have to set yourself with small goals. You will have greater success if done this way.
I started with cutting out certain junk foods of my house. Making a list of groceries and sticking to it, making sure I ate before I went to buy groceries makes a huge difference in what I buy.
Planning out what I eat for supper everyday of the week helped me too.
For exercise start small and work your way up. It gets easier with time and you get in a routine too.
