I already cut back on my walks, this morning I just walked for 15 minutes to and from my medicine store I have to go back to the pharmacy to get my one medication they didn't have at that moment, they said it will be in by one PM John

My sister swears by them,she worked at IBM and most of the administrative assistants used them..I'm using one now. It helps to align your sinaL column and releives the pressure I feel in the lumbar all the time. It comes with two attatched straps that go around the front of the knee's and it clasps together to keep the legs together, that makes it work so well. They unattatch quickly enough, in case you have to get up. John

Good morning Kris, I've got a belt that I wear when walking outside, I also have a type of belt known as the Nada Chair, It makeds you sit with the correct posture and feels good on my back. If I didn't have it my sitting sessions would be for a very short time the Nada Chair has a website called www.nadachair.com , it works for countless number of people. I know of many secretatries who use the nada chair and they love it. I do too. John

I like donuts, but only really the ones that are deep-fried in lard. I used to make them for a shop when I did a lot of baking. I love them with a hint of nutmeg in them. The last time I made them, I had run out of paper bags to shake them in cinnamon/sugar when they came out the deep-fryer, but had the brilliant brainwave to use a plastic bag. I stuck them in the bag and shook them - it took a while to twig why they shot all over the kitchen, and were shiny blue - I had shrink-wrapped them in BLUE plastic - LOL! (It did look funny :-)
Awoke this morning at six to a stiff back. I used moist heat on it for twenty minutes and now it feels better. No pain there but that could be the pain killers . I still plan to walk again today for a few minutes more, until I build up my stamina and endurance. It's been a year since I was able to do that kind of walking, three quarters of a mile each way, to and from for a total of one and a half miles. Today is Maclean avenue festival where businesses bring their wares to the sidewalks and sell them, can't wait till the donut shop opens up, lol, only kidding I've stayed away from donuts for years and I don't miss them. John

Hello all, I had a great day, yesterday,but today is a different story. I took a walk in the early morning, 5AM, I stepped off a curb the wrong way and set things rolling once again, my upper back began to hurt badly. I was near the park but found a bench that I could sit on. I leaned forward and felt a vertebra crack in my thoracic spine. I twisted my back to the left and felt that vertebra go back into place. From then on I had no problem walking. I shocked myself when I did that,I actually felt a shock going from my thoracic to my neck. I hope to make it in one piece to my doctor's appointment,lol. Tonight I'll try to sleep on my back, no pillows,just a neck pillow to see if my spasms increase,if so, then those pillows come out and I'll try to sleep as comfortable as possible. John / LNY
