This is what we had for breakfast this morning. VERY good!
Dr Fuhrman's SUPER SEED OATMEAL
1 cup of fashioned rolled oats ( NOT quick or instant )
1 1/2 cups unsweetened vanilla , soy , hemp or almond milk ( I used Almond milk)
1apple, peeled , cored and chopped
1cup frozen blueberries, or mixed berries, thawed. ( I used frozen blueberries)
1/4 cup raisins ( I used golden because thats what I had)
1tablespoon raw sunflower seeds
1tablespoon ground fax seeds
1tablespoon ground hemp seeds
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Choose a large pot to cook oats so they don't boil over. Bring nut milk to a boil. Add oats and stir.
Simmer , covered, about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally .
Then mix in all rest of ingredients and enjoy!!( we ate ours with a very little more almond milk)
Divide and save half for tomorrow and refrigerate.
