I am looking for and recording three positive things each day, Some times it's hard but it helps me to keep looking .
Yesterday, I sorted out my knitting yarn stash into labelled boxes.
My eldest grand daughter came to see me with her two sons
I contacted a local art group for seniors to see if they would like my husband's art stuff, they welcomed it,

Started on the Volvic silicon-rich mineral water yesterday. I had expected yucky tasting, but it tastes wonderful. To consume 1 liter (33.8 oz) but have no way to measure that accurately, but will get four, 8 oz + cups. Brought home lots of good food from Natural Grocers, so i'm all set if this snow today keeps me at home.

Yesterday I found a solution for detoxing aluminum, and more publications from here and abroad about the problem of aluminum being in so many products for years. Earliest publications I found were from 2008 and 2012, and I had my dose in a vaccine in 2012. One solution is to drink silica-rich mineral water--one liter per day for 12 weeks. It is supposed to leach aluminum from everywhere in the body. Aluminum heads straight to the brain and there is a link from it to Alsheimers. The only bottled water for me for several months will be Fiji or Volvic. emoticon

Also, getting back on track with food and supplements. As soon as the storms stop coming in and sunshine appears, I will be walking outside. There was a strong wind along with the rain today. Snow due tonight, I think, and tomorrow. I hope it will melt quickly.

That is a good idea to brush early and before bed. Good for you.

6853 steps yesterday. Rested up yesterday after a restless night. I'm off my feed lately and the scale is going the wrong direction! Still have not been walking outside! Not doing the activities I should be doing! Also not getting 8 (8oz) glasses of water--drinking regular coffee and decaf! Chronic fatigue is not a good thing, and insomnia does not help my energy level. I wish I had an exercise buddy available.

I reached my 10,000 steps 2 days ago but overdid it as my knee is now hurting when I walk.

Wow! Quite a woman, Roberta. The fact that she keeps moving maybe the answer to longevity, for sure.

I too love Dr Mercola and his wisdom.! Been following him for years.

My new improvement for us besides moving more is to use only smaller plates and one small serving of everything. I even put away the larger plates out of site. :)

Regarding supplements, I just started taking three recommended by Dr. Mercola:

Ubiquinol: Anti-aging benefit; for energy production in every cell in your body.
Glutathione: for tissue building and repair, and an immune booster.
D-Ribose: boosts muscle energy: improves chronic fatigue.
Of course, these are not for every body. Do check them out before taking.

These are in addition to Ginger, Garlic, Calcium/Magnesium, Vitamin D3, DHA, Curcumin, and Potassium.

My cereal: Yogurt (probiotic), Whey (protein), D-Ribose (for chronic fatigue), Cinnamon (anti-inflammatory), Cocoa Powder (anti-oxidant), Vanilla, and Honey (anti-biotic, immune booster, helps with allergies, and a sleep aid).

Wow! Wonderful news Roberta on your finding something that actually works to help you sleep.
I Could complain about goingto bed at 9:30 and waking at 11:30, 3:30 and then again by 5:30
For my potty run ,but I go right back to sleep .
I will try the honey fix in my soy milk before bed time tonight to see if that extends my sleep time . i already take extra calcium along with my vitamins.

I may have found a sleep aid: at bedtime, I take two "OsteoGenesis ES" (BIOGENESIS NUTRACEUTICALS) capsules with vitamins and minerals and calcium and magnesium. Plus a glass of whole milk with a teaspoon of honey. My sleep has improved from three to four hours a night to 10:05 hours last night!

The info on honey to aid sleep is from an OLD book: "The New Science of Living and Healing," by Wallace D. Wattle. (Kindle edition.) I could not access the page about when it was first published, but I suspect it is from the early 1900s.

Confirmed, it was published in 1910.

To improve my health after what the toxic whooping cough vaccine (aluminum) did to me:
--I set a timer for 10 minutes when I am sitting at my computer. When it rings, I get up and walk--sometimes on my tiptoes to strengthen legs and feet.
--I have added supplements to my diet to restore body cells to combat chronic fatigue (Dr. Mercola).
--I follow paleo/primal nutrition and lifestyle (Mark Sisson). It's working.
--I have eliminated sugar except for honey in my smoothies, as it is an anti-biotic, an immune booster, and from local areas, it helps the body overcome allergies.
--I have started "Tapping" (Emotional Freedom Technique, EFT) to work on negative emotions, weight issues, past hurts. It is amazing.

This change in lifestyle is working for me. Health is improving, balance is improving, also strength and stamina. I am profoundly grateful. The only thing that still needs improving is my sleep. I've done everything the experts have suggested--maybe the EFT will help that, too.

I prepared 7 veggie black bean stirfry for lunch.
Walked an hour before breakfast , also 50 plus minutes of upper and lower body exercises,

ADDING MORE WHOLE GRAINS, -BREAD,S, RICE'S, QUINUOA, BULGER, ETC. TO MY DIET FOR THE FIBER AND THE ENERGY CARBS.

GOT BACK IN THE KITCHEN AND EMPTIED THE VEGETABLE DRAWER.
CLEANED AND CHOPPED EVERYTHING IN IT.
HAD A LARGE SALAD WITH LG. ASSORTMENTS OF VEGGIES. PLUS SWEET POTATO CHIPS ON THE SIDE. FOR LUNCH.
THEN MADE A HUGE POT OF VEGGIE SOUP WITH THE REST. ADDED CANNED TOMATOES AND BROWN RICE PASTA.
WILL FREEZE A COUPLE QUARTS TOO.
THIS SHOULD LAST US THE REST OF OUR TIME HERE.

I feel for you, Ree! You must take care of yourself too.
A cousin of ours developed Alzheimer's and fortunately when it got too much for her to handle alone , she found a wonderful care facility where they both could live-he in the care area and she in her own living quarters. I didn't know such a place existed until she found this one in Denver area.
We know you have your hands full but pop in whenever you can.

Thank you Pat I did take your advice and buy sesame seeds ,I already have almond milk on my morning oats,
Ian struggling lately to cope so its importantI try to stay heathy! Having a husband with Alzeimers is taking far more time and energy I had expected . I do many other thing but am looking at what to put aside for now.
I am staying on Sparks but will only pop in as i can . Friendship is so important and some f you have experience of dementia so I appreciate your support . Thanks . Bye for now. Ree emoticon

IF I MAY SUGGEST, YOU MIGHT WANT TO ADD SESAME SEEDS AND ALMOND MILK DAILY TO YOUR MEALS FOR ADDED CALCIUM AT HOME.
RESEARCHERS HAVE FOUND THAT SESAME SEEDS HAVE THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF CALCIUM OF ANY FOOD IN THE WORLD ACCORDING TO "EAT TO LIVE" BOOK.
