In February of 2007 I weighed 204 at the age of 77 or 78 and lost 52 pounds to my goal weight of 152 in 9 months. I did it with healthy eating and after taking enough pounds off to move around I joined a gym. You can do it. emoticon

Learn all you can every day from all the wonderful lessons taught for free by the experts at SPARK . Hop right in and take part in our discussions. Be sure to use the NUTRITION page to keep track of calories and nutrients . Get moving. Use the FITNESS page too. And record everything you do. Start out slow but add a little more every day. Maybe this forum will do the trick. I know at my age losing weight isn't easy, but I do need motivation. Wrong thinking about age doesn't really motivate.

Being with people who understand should do keep me on track. I think a good diet and exercise plan. The trouble is putting it in action.
