I'm fairly certain there's an answer about this topic on Dr. Fuhrman's website, but it may be in the member center- perhaps someone here can find it. My thoughts were to make sure you get enough healthy fats, like maybe an extra handful of nuts, but if you are already overweight, he says your body is burning and utilizing the stored fats as you lose weight, so maybe I'm mistaken. I'd really like to hear the answer as well, as my sister is still losing weight breastfeeding, and not eating a nutritarian diet. Problem is, she didn't have but 10lbs to lose to begin with! :)
