I made a great salad dressing today. I took some mix berries ( blueberries, strawberries and bosenberries mixe them in the blender and added white wine vinegar and just a touch of basalmic vinegar (1/4 tsp) . Its was great on my green salad. I can't wait to have it again.
i put every veggie that I have in my salad, red peppers is my favorite, then theres cucumbers, yellow squash, carrots, cabbage, tomatoes, mushrooms and lots of greens. i also add some mixed nuts and seeds and beans

Beans? Greek peppers? Red onions? Apples? Walnuts? Red Cabbage? Different kinds of lettuce? Or maybe NO lettuce? Grapes? A new salad dressing? Raisins? Craisins? Pomegranate seeds? Steamed veggies? Quinoa? Brown rice? Whole wheat pasta? Salsa? Served on top of a big baked sweet potato? Sautéed mushrooms? Served on top of a big baked portabello? Rolled in a whole grain wrap with some hummus?
There are so many variations on salad. Change it up before you get bored.
