I couldn't find anything on DrFuhrman.com, but in researching calories, fat, carbs I can't believe hearts of palm aren't ok. If you are using canned, the issue might be sodium.

Anybody else have an opinion ??

I've never seen them listed specifically, but they are vegetables. I don't think they are starch vegetables. I'll see what I can find out about hearts of palm, I guess it could be considered starchy, not sure. I'll go to his web site and let you know what I find.
