Hey, fellow Cols area SparkPeople! I have an active job: standing, walking, squatting, kneeling, climbing, more walking- and am on a two-week vacation. I know from experience that I will get soft and lazy if I don't plan to stay in working shape. Any ideas on how to keep up with my normal activity level while enjoying my time off? I do plan to work on things around the house, and walking my FatDog

at the local Metro Parks and around the neighborhood... but I'm concerned about keeping up with my 19,000 steps per day average. Also, lifting boxes and pushing and pulling has kept my arms and legs strong (think pulling 2,000 lb pallets of water with a hand jack and lifting 40lb boxes from point A to B) at work, but how do I keep my current muscles at home?
