It is definitely interesting, but that term encompasses a lot. I would watch it again, but it was disturbing. I think I'd have a comedy on hand to watch afterwards to kind of scrub your brain. Or in your case maybe Friday the 13th or something.

I'm looking for my inner athlete, but I'm afraid I may have eaten her. If I'm very quiet I can hear her screams of terror.

I have never seen the entire film but I really want to. I know it is a disturbing film but the pieces I have seen I would call "interesting"

I thought the part with him and the naked girl on the stage was funny, and then how mean the guy was that rented his room was pretty funny to.

I reckon I'm a major sicko then... I watched it and I like it... although some scenes were hard to watch, I also found a lot of funny in it.

Since I am the only sicko that has actually watched it. It is not one of my favorite films.

This movie is too graphic and horrible to watch. It leaves a bad feeling. emoticon It will never be in my video library. I had to put a musical on after I watched some of this movie to feel better.

Watched the entire thing for a film class. Twisted and difficult to watch - but incredible in complexity. There is a reason it's a lasting cult film.

I only watched part of it, too!

Recently I might add.

It was so hard to watch. Give me a slasher movie any day, but this movie was not a movie I want to finish or watch again.

This was a terribly difficult movie to watch, but I did watch it. I don't think I can say I enjoyed it, but I think I would watch it again. I do think this movie is a horror movie in the truest sense of the word. I know that it is set in a fanciful future world, but the idea that people like Alex live among us is far more frightening to me than any onscreen supernatural baddie could be.

This was very difficult to watch. I didn't finish it.

A Clockwork Orange, 1971

Being the adventures of a young man, Alex, whose principal interests are rape, ultra-violence and Beethoven.

Anthony Burgess originally sold the movie rights to Mick Jagger for $500 when he needed quick cash. Jagger intended to make it with The Rolling Stones as the droogs, but then re-sold the rights for a much larger amount.

Tim Curry and Jeremy Irons turned down the role of Alex. Stanley Kubrick once said "If Malcolm McDowell hadn't been available I probably wouldn't have made the film."f

I can't imagine any other as Alex. While this is a strange movie and at times difficult to watch... I like it a lot.

Have you seen it? What do you think?

info and trailer here: www.imdb.com/title/tt0066921/

"It had been a wonderful evening and what I needed now, to give it the perfect ending, was a little of the Ludwig Van."
