The talent fueling some of cinema’s most beloved and timeless cult films, Craven is behind such classics as The Last House on the Left (1972), The Hills Have Eyes (1977), A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984), The Serpent and the Rainbow (1988), and Scream (1996). Having written and directed some of the most lucrative and renowned horror franchises in history, Craven’s brilliance will forever instill terror in those which have indulged upon his films and an inspiration to those who’ve studied the techniques pioneered by the directorial genius.
