I've watched this a few times but it is just not a movie which I care for at all. I prefer the following versions:
1943 The Phantom of the Opera with Claude Rains & Nelson Eddy 1962 Hammer's The Phantom of the Opera with Herbert Lom 1990 The Phantom of the Opera with Charles Dance as the Phantom & Burt Lancaster as the man who ran the opera house. It was a two day special showing on NBC. Luckily I was able to tape it.

This one stars Gerard Butler... and I find it pretty cool that he actually sang the songs himself. :) I liked this movie a lot... better the second time, actually. What did you think if you've seen it.
I hope everyone had a great 4th. We went to a local park and watched a live rock band and some pretty terrific fireworks. It was a good night. :)
Have a great Friday!
