I own every one of his movies I have found. I'm not much of a comedy fan but I adore his movies!

I love Mel Brooks - "Men in Tights", "Spaceballs", and "Blazing Saddles" are three of my all time favorite movies.

I'm looking for my inner athlete, but I'm afraid I may have eaten her. If I'm very quiet I can hear her screams of terror.

On this day in Horror History, Mel Brooks was born. The mind behind such films as Young Frankenstein (1974), Blazing Saddles (1974), Spaceballs (1987), and Robin Hood: Men in Tights (1993) Brooks has blessed most every genre of film and given the world some of the most celebrated cult films in cinematic history.

“I cut my finger. That's tragedy. A man walks into an open sewer and dies. That's comedy.” –Mel Brooks
