Nothing special here probably will forget to wear green, I always do lol

Neither of us is Irish so it's life as usual for us.
It's not who you think you are that holds you back...it's who you think you're not...

ALOHACYL - Those are all great films!!!
My daughter and I will be making a stew & watching Irish themed movies on Saturday. My Mom is part Irish and we are all proud of that part. So, on Sunday we'll be watching movies and enjoying the day.
The Irish themed movies we'll be watching:
The Quiet Man (John Wayne, Maureen O'Hara)
Brigadoon (Gene Kelley & Cyd Charisse)
A Shine of Rainbows (Aidan Quinn)
Thomasina (Patrick McGoohan - it is Scottish but I love the movie)
Darby O'Gill & the Little People (Sean Connery)
No Horror flicks for that day.

You can't wait for motivation to strike; sometimes you need to dig deep into yourself and find the motivation on your own.
I'll have a Jig's Dinner and Green beer.
Being Irish, Mom is going to cook a traditional Irish dinner. I may have a cocktail or two. St Patrick's Day is a big deal at Mom's house. :)
Oh yeah, stay away from those Shamrock Shakes at McDonalds! lol
"How far that little candle throws its beams! So shines a good deed in a naughty world."
I'll probably wear green.
I'll probably cook cabbage (skipping the corned beef)
(Hey, green eggs and ham would be good for the occasion!)
I'll probably look for some family friendly movie or cartoon.
I'm not fond of the leprechaun movies... I tried to watch one (don't know which) before and the first scene had enough f-bombs that I just had to turn it off. The movie wasn't good enough to tolerate the language like say... Shaun of the Dead... TONS of f-bombs there too, but a really good movie so I endured. LOL!
Never tried green beer, doubt I will, not fond of beer either...

I usually do the corned beef dinner with lots of veggies, but this year we have to travel to a funeral. Perhaps we will hoist a pint to his memory.

Not really into St. Patty's Day, so no special plans.
Do or do not, there is no try.
I'll cook something green for the holiday - but it may just be a green dessert of some kind. No corned beef and cabbage for me, hubby may decide to make some for himself but I'll pass. I'm not big on green beer, but green other drinks have been known to happen.
Otherwise no big plans for the weekend. I'll see what's on Netflix or go rent something.
I'm looking for my inner athlete, but I'm afraid I may have eaten her. If I'm very quiet I can hear her screams of terror.
My time zone is MDT
I'll start wearing green on Friday. I'll cook on Sunday (yes I will COOK). I don't do green beer, but I have the Guinness ready to go. In honor of my mom, Sunday's movie will be the Quiet Man. I'll have to get my horror fix on Saturday.

I'm going to succeed because I'm crazy enough to think I can!
I hope this week has been a good one for each of you!
It's almost St Patty's Day! Do you do anything special? Watch a Leprechaun marathon?
We don't usually do anything special. When I was single I used to go to out and have a green drink with girlfriends. Ah, the good ol days! lol
