I don't do Black friday, never have. Actually I try to stay away from most all shopping areas this time of year, people are so very rude, even in the parking lots!

I have not seen either movie although I'd like to, thank-you for the links!

I haven't seen either of those movies.

Black Friday is a no for me as well. I used to go when my son was little and I could get amazing deals on toys. I couldn't pass it up as much as I hated it.

Our government butted in and now the stores have days in the year where they HAVE to stay closed. I work in retail, so partially I applaud this, but there should have been a couple of more days added!!

I haven't heard of either as well, but if sounds interesting.

I protest Black Friday. So many people's holidays are getting squashed as Black Friday creeps up and up-it's just annoying. Not sure when I'm doing Christmas shopping, but sometime...

Renee, you've been finding some pretty cool movies! I haven't seen either, but they look interesting.

I don't go to the stores on Black Friday. However, I'll start my online Christmas shopping on Friday night. Since I'm in Japan and ahead of the US dateline, I can chill out on Friday morning & afternoon.

I think I've heard of the first one but haven't seen either one.

We always do our Christmas shopping online. So much easier and quicker.

Perfect Creature sounds interesting - even though it's a common enough theme for vampire movies.

I absolutely don't do Black Friday. I'm broke enough this year though that if there's something good advertised I may break my hard and fast rule to avoid all stores that day. Risk life and limb to get something to put under the tree. When I say it out loud like that it sounds like an even worse idea. I do know other people who absolutely thrive on the crowd atmosphere though, so more power to them.

I'm looking for my inner athlete, but I'm afraid I may have eaten her. If I'm very quiet I can hear her screams of terror.

Don't know any of the movies...

We don't have Black Friday here, although I know that a lot of Canadians do go south of the border for this. We have something similar but NOT quite on Boxing day, and I won't go shopping on that day.

I watched the Perfect Host not too long ago. It's a bit slower and low budget, but pretty good once it gets rolling. It's worth watching.

It's cool here too! Love it!

I don't do Black Friday in stores.i just refuse, but I also do the online BF!

Good morning!

It's chilly here in AR this morning, feels really great! We're thinking of doing a bit more Christmas shopping today. and speaking of Christmas Shopping... do you "do" black friday? I do NOT when it comes to heading out to the stores, but I DO when it comes to online specials.

I have two movies to consider for this weekend...

The Perfect Host - A criminal on the run cons his way into the wrong dinner party where the host is anything but ordinary. (IMDB)
www.youtube.com/watch?v=4S1dovoZ6bM
and

Perfect Creature - The vampire myth is given a stylish 1960s treatment, where a human cop partners with a vampire cop to stop a vamp bent on creating a war between the two "separate but equal" races. (IMDB) It has a cool steampunk feel also... which I like a LOT. :)
www.youtube.com/watch?v=qc3SWpzl868

Have you seen these? I have and both are pretty good! :)

I know The Perfect Host is currenlty on Netflix Instant View, not sure about Perfect Creature.

Have a wonderful weekend!
