It's a skull a rose and a time piece. It covers this tribal piece I had. We only got the black and grey done for right now because it took 4 hours just to do that. I was pretty sore after that. I cant wait until it;s finished.

I need to find a cool flower that will drape off of my shoulder. Pretty purple or blue maybe even a dark red.

Kat does great portraits, for sure. So does Tim Hendricks and Nikko Hurtado. I think I'd choose Nikko. That would be so awesome. It's great you've found an artist you like a lot. I hope I can get in to see Chris Thomas when I'm ready for some ink. I've researched him a bit and he's supposed to be really good. Then again, it might be fun to travel somewhere for a special tattoo from someone in particular. Kat still does tats at High Voltage, I think, but probably won't be anywhere near LA in my lifetime, that rules out Kat and Corey unfortunately... I think he still has his shop 6 Feet Under. However,... I'll be in Austin, Texas in August, I wonder if there are any high profile tattooers there.

I'm back. Two days of eating like there was no tomorrow. Shows on the scale too.

Back on track though. Not to much backpaddling to have to do, but still have to do it.

Have a great day!

Ate too much bread yesterday, but was still within my food limits. Feel bloated today because of the bread, though.

Didn't sleep well last night, and when I did manage to sleep, I ended up waking up late. Skipped breakfast so I wouldn't be even more late for work. Had a huge lunch, but skipped the soda that came with it -- had water instead.

Still on track, even with the huge lunch. YAY ME.

I have a sinus headache that's pounding away right now. I think I will leave the office early today.

Blew it with the water consumption this weekend. But I stayed on track with my food, and I managed to get in some walking.

Seeing results on the scale again this week, and very happy about it.

All this effort is well worth it!

Have a great day!

Have spent the last few days at my friend's place.... dropped in at my place for maybe 15 minutes each day.

He's fed me, and I'm happy not to have to cook. I have consumed way too much sodium, though, and I feel bloated.

I haven't been drinking my water, either.

Today is a new day! Starting with my water!!!

Have a great day!

I'm getting my sparking done (at the office at the moment) now, in case I don't get a chance to do it later.

They just introduced Black Friday in Canada. I don't think it's as popular as it is in the US.

Saw some footage of people in stores. WOW. Are the sales really THAT good that people have to pound on each other? Scarey.

Hope your Friday was ok, even though you had to work.

This is the first Black Friday I have had to work in at least 7 years. While I'm grateful to have a job, and even more grateful that it isn't in retail, I miss my chill after Thanksgiving day.

Everyone has a story...take a minute to find out what it is before judging them.

Feeling lazy today. Looking out the window seeing the sun shining, and thinking how nice it would be to just stay home and chill out. Not gonna happen, though. I have too much to do at the office to finish off the charitable campaign that ends today. UGH.

I'm not a fan of snow either! Unfortunately, it's a fact of life where I live.

I couldn't get my shovel out of the shed on Saturday, when we had a light snowfall. The lock is frozen, and I forgot to buy lock de-icer during the week. Now the shed door needs to be dug out so I can open it... but my shovel is still locked INSIDE the shed! LOL.

Now the snow has a hard crust on it, so it's going to be a real job to move it. It's a good thing I don't have a car!

I'll have to go buy a new shovel this weekend.

Have a great day!

Slept in this morning. Had a very late breakfast, and then watched a movie. Did some tidying up, and decided to go through all of my makeup.

It's amazing what I still had in my collection -- lip liners, eye liners, lipsticks and eyeshadows from over ten years ago. EEEEP! Not that I used them, I rarely wear makeup. I got rid of anything that was old, and filled a bag with newer stuff that I haven't used. I'll bring the bag to work and keep it as "emergency" makeup in case I decide to go out after work some day. LOL

Just had lunch (4:00 p.m.), and trying to get in all my water.

Have a great day!

I really need to get myself back into a routine of working out.

I started back at the gym two weeks ago -- started off nice and slow, walking on the treadmill -- then I did a faceplant on the way home from work, and hurt myself (knees, elbows, shoulder), and I haven't been back since.

I've done a little bit of walking, but clearly not enough.

Time to get moving again!

I had all of mine strategically placed -- not because I care about what people think.

I wanted the artwork for myself, and each tattoo that I got after the vine (scar cover) represents something to me, and I just didn't feel like having to explain to people why I chose them.... LOL.

I can be so antisocial sometimes!

I get the "ink urge" quite often- For so long I went without because I was worried about people's opinions, but when I got my first visible tattoo in August of last year... The floodgates opened!

I hadn't really been thinking of tattoos in the last few years, but for some reason, about three weeks ago, as I was strolling past a tattoo parlour, I had this sudden urge to go in and have something done -- but I didn't. LOL.

I had no idea what exactly I wanted.

The feeling has passed, although, I'm thinking that if I reach my goal weight next year, I will get something to celebrate -- maybe something for my 50th birthday -- it can be a dual celebration tattoo!

Mine felt the same as getting on originally. Nothing extra.

Does it hurt more getting a cover up than getting original tattoo?

I have 7 tatts and like to have 1 covered up with a better tattoo--same idea but better design. My problem is, whenever I have an appt with tattooist, he isn't in. I have to walk half an hr to get there--maybe 1 mile--and I wait, get fed up and leave. I'll text to remind him of appt and might get reply an hr later. Today same thing. 2 hrs after he said he'd be there, I happened to walk by and he was driving up. I like his artwork and pretty much painless. But if he does this again, I'll go to someone else. He almost seemed excited when I asked about another tattooist. I guess he's so busy, my money isn't all that important.

Happy New Year Team.
My husband did something like that on his right arm.He made a memorial tat that has all of his relatives that have passed on. His is a grave yard with the names on the gravestones.
You can use any design and have it go down your arm. I have my daughters name done in a rose pattern on my right arm. You could use flowers or just about anything and put their names on the design. Hope this helps. emoticon

I am starting using this site again and it looks like the last message that was posted in here was around Thanksgiving...I hope all had a great Thanksgiving and Christmas...I did anyway...

I personally have two tats so far...I have one on my left breast...and one on my left shoulder and back...that one hurt a little for me..cuz of it being closer to the bone...

i want to get another one that has my kids names and my granddaughters name....and leaves room for more grandkids (if there are more that is....)I am not sure that I want their father in it or me in it or their spouses...but i do know that i want the blood line ...any ideas of where to put that and how to put that?

I have a dove tat on my right ribcage (hurt but so so worth it) and my first tattoo on my hip. It says "What's so wrong with being happy?" a song lyric by Incubus. I want to get a day of the dead or sugar skull tattoo next but not sure about the placement. I want it near the foot but apprehensive because I heard that place hurts the most. Tips?

I have my shoulder and top of my foot tattooed. The shoulder didn't hurt too much, but I need to get it touched up, or do something different. The tat on my foot hurt, but I love it! It's a Celtic cross.

Painful but so worth it. I have both mine done. Sounds like a beautiful tat your planning with the boys. I got new ink on my shoulder. Not real thrilled with the artist. Going to have to get it touched up a bit. Good thing it is small!

**New to group** Just wanted to chime in and say I have 2 tats. Princess Peach riding a quad on my back and Yoshi on my arm. I am a huge Nintendo geek. LOVE it all!! :) I am a sucker for tats on guys and girls, I just love it. I plan on getting at least one more on my ankle to foot with my boys' names and possibly birthdates on it. Gonna be pricey and painful so I keep putting it off!

Well, this is it. January has come to an end, and I did ok.

February will be much better. :-)

Going to focus my time on the other teams that I belong to for a little while. Might come back to visit once in a while.

Have a fantastic day!

Definitely on track today. YAY ME!

Feeling tired today, woke up in the middle of the night and didn't get back to sleep until just after 4 a.m. Blech.

Thinking tomorrow will be may be my last post on this team. I'm a member on a few other teams, and I think I need to concentrate on the teams on which I am a leader/co-leader.

Who knows, though, I may change my mind.

You did good!

Today was definitely better for me. Working on my last glass of water for the day.

Started off with a good breakfast, and then worked with my son to put down the laminate flooring in my bedroom. Took us a few hours, and we didn't stop for lunch. By the time we were done, we were both exhausted. I was too sore from the workout! Had a good soak in the tub and a couple of Tylenol for the pain, and then ordered Chinese food for dinner.

We've had more take out this weekend than we have had in the last year. I just didn't feel like cooking! I cook everything from scratch, so it was a treat not to have to cook. I needed the break. However, the Chinese food is the last take out we'll be having for a while.

I think sometimes we need days like that. Not often but sometimes. LOL I know I give myself a day like that usually once a month or so. Yep water is a big key. It really helps me. I was actually proud of myself yesterday. I dropped my son off at work and wanted to so badly get a chicken sandwich. I didn't need it but wanted it. I got into drive thru and to my amazement simply got out of the drive thru a minute afterwards. I had stuff to cook at home that was healthier and more filling and I just wasn't willing to take the risk this close to weighin day. In the past I would have just given in and not really weighed my options. I hope this becomes a trend!

I ate like a hog yesterday. Made a healthy breakfast, and then it was downhill from there. MacDonalds for lunch, then some oreos, then some nachos, and a late dinner of pizza.

I think maybe it's because I didn't start off my day drinking water. In fact, I only had three glasses.

Today will be much better.

Have a great Sunday!

I love sleep. I still struggle to get in bed by 11 p.m. That is a good night for me if I get that accomplished. Lately I have done well with it. It has really started to make a difference that I can tell with going to bed early. Heck last night I was crashed by 1030. Loved it! I had to get up this morning to go swimming. While I loved the water and enjoyed it. My brain was thinking what the heck? Sleep in already. LOL I do see a nap coming this afternoon.
