That is a ridiculous complaint, too fast. lol The game still has plenty of flaws and with the unique exercises, the kinect still has difficulty reading the body (bear crawls, get ups, sprawls and ankle picks for sure). At least the Wii has a board to accurately show your weight and balance. :)

I did check at the store and it is the same game just diff platforms. I think you are right about wii. I love it for most of the fitness stuff, but on UFC and the upgrade to wii fit plus I noticed that it doesnt track your movements as well. Its frustrating as heck when it yells at ya, or UFC tells ya that you failed. LOL You can punch away and its not reading it. I pulled it back out to give another try yesterday. Got a big laugh while doing the speed bag. It kept telling me I was going too fast. WTH? How can you be too fast on a SPEED bag? LMAO

Nah, this is for the Kinect. It might have the same workouts, but the kinect doesn't have the extra bands or equiptment. I think the Kinect reads the body moving alot more accurately than the Wii, but I am in no way knocking the Wii system.

This made me lol. Reminds me of a kid a few yrs ago that won an hr of real T38 sim time on the local AF base. He totally blew the instructor away with his flight ability. Inst. ask him if he had been taking flgt lessons. The kid said, "No Sir." So Inst asked how he was able to fly like that, and the kid said, "I fly strike fighters on my Flight Sim game." Later I heard that the Navy actually got the same company to make an adaptation of a game, which is distributed to all their flgt students to practice. Guess this is the New Video Generation. LOL

Is this the same thing as UFC Fitness Trainer for the wii? What a rip off. I spent $39.99 on the boxed edition that came with the arm/leg band for the remote or other electronics during workout. I cant believe this is considered a workout. Boring and lame. For a child or maybe preteen it isnt bad. I was very disappointed. Its fun as a game, but it was touted as a real workout. NOT!

I played 2 workouts so far in the game and I can say that it reads my movement very well, unlike some of the other Kinect games. I had basic workouts, part of a 60 day endurance program. They had 30 or 60 day programs for endurance, strength or weight loss. I forgot how many trainers/fighters were in the game, but it was more than 12 I believe. So far, it's pretty fun and I'm very sore. :D

No, it can't replace training at the gym, any more than watching the UFC can make you a fighter. That said, we had a teenager come into the gym for his first Jiu Jitsu class a while back. As usual, we went over a few techniques, then began to roll. He mounted his opponent and executed a pretty decent spinning armbar. The instructor asked him 'if this is your first day, where did you learn that?' "My UFC videogame" was his response. lol

Maybe I'm being a bit too technical here but how are you supposed to simulate a takedown or a submission? It would be great if two people could do it at the same time. Kind of makes me wish I had a Kinect now. My only fear is people trying to use this as a sub to going to a fight gym. I can see it now, "Fighters" who list their training as the Kinect lol

I've had the Kinect for a week and as much as I want to play it, I get too exhausted and winded to keep playing. lol I'm using the Your Shape trainer and playing the Adventures game that came with it.

Dana White was tweeting that he plans on releasing the UFC Fitness game for the Xbox Kinect around April 1st, but with a date like that, it could be just an old fashioned April Fools joke. I hope he's serious, I like the Your Shape cardio-kickboxing trainer. It's a real workout, but I'll trade it for a UFC fitness trainer in a heartbeat. Hopefully, it would be Bas Rutten. lol Liver punch for the win.
