Didn't end the month where I wanted to be, but was still down from where I started, even if it was 1/2 pound. Didn't exercise like I should have and getting my water is was a struggle. Have got to do better February and March to end up where I want to be.

I'm back and recommitting to myself and to being healthy. There has been so much going on between work and family and health that I really neglected myself and gained back all the weight I lost. While that is sad, I know I can lose the weight again. Looking forward to making it happen!

I am still waiting to start mine! Work HOPEFULLY will be slowing down soon so I will be able to get home in time to get some exercise in. I told my daughter that if we can pinch pennies long enough to get my debt paid off then I will buy is a YMCA membership. I have to get debt paid off first though. I work much better if I have group classes.

I have been doing really well food-wise until the last two days. I had way too much "crap" those two days. Today I wanted poptarts but ate an egg, toast and a pear instead. So far so good!

I'm feeling kind of guilty, but I have decided to take this week off from my cardio. My shoulder has been bothering me and it is starting to feel some better as I have taken time off. It seems like everything I was doing for cardio (stationary bike and weeding, primarily) were aggravating it.

Please help hold me to my pledge of starting back on Monday no matter what!

I do the same thing. When I first started on Spark I would track every day (to get the points) and lost weight on a regular basis. Then I got used to not tracking and here I am gaining and losing the same five pounds over and over again. I admit sometimes it's hard to track like when I eat a potluck dinner or something immeasurable but I use that as an excuse.

Does anyone else struggle with making sure you track your food every day? I get on a roll and do it for a few days, but then fall off track for sometimes a couple weeks before I get back on track with it. Any advice is welcome!

My teenage son and I had an argument this weekend. Saturday morning, he went to Shipley's donuts. Like a good girl, I didn't even look in the bag to see what he bought. Late in the day, he said, "Mom, didn't you see? I bought you a cake donut."

At first, I said, "Thanks, honey, That was thoughtful of you, but I'm really not hungry."

He got this hurt look on his face and said, "But they're your favorites and I bought it for you because I was so rude last night. It's a make-up donut."

I could have said something about how nice it was of him to think of me and that I appreciated the apology, but I still didn't need the donut. I COULD have said it, but I didn't. I ate the darn donut and enjoyed every single bite.

THE GOOD NEWS is that I was honest with myself and I put the donut on my food log. I ended up going over my calories on Saturday, but only by about 100. Sounds like a lot, I know, but I'm not beating myself up. I was really, really good this week. Tracked, stayed under my calories every other day and exercised every day. I decided that the donut would be my splurge for the week and then I moved on. Happy!

I made baked chicken and oven roasted potatoes for dinner. By the time they were finished baking I was so hungry I didn't even wait to make a vegetable to go with it. And i just kept eating the potatoes! emoticon

345 : Start playing Wii fit again. *Wii fit has a limit of 330*
320 : Heart rate monitor! Hubby will start working out with me in the evenings.
300 : Not sure yet, maybe some new exercise clothes.
250 : Some sort of fitness class once a week, yoga or pilates...or crossfit
225 : Start a self defense class.
190: Healthy BMI! Spa day!!! Maybe buy something like P90X or Insanity to help sculpt my physique.

I ate too much this past weekend. Making up for it at the gym yesterday and today...starting to feel better.

I finally made it to the gym today! Did 65 minutes on the treadmill but then came home and ate two chocolate chip cookies. Should balance each other out though!

LOL! I am picturing my husband stomping around in heels... ooo la la! I made it to the gym yesterday AND today. ...(crosses fingers) HOPEFULLY I'll keep on this path.

Rewards keep me sane. ESPECIALLY since as you get closer to your goal weight the pounds JUST WON'T BUDGE! So, make sure the rewards are given for even the smallest accomplishment.

I have an idea, make HIM walk four blocks in heels and see how he feels after that! lol I have not been to the gym in quite a while but life has just gotten in the way. Between work and my family being in town I haven't had time. soon I'll be back into the swing of things. Sometimes life is more important and other times it can just be an excuse. All depends on the circumstances!

Don't beat yourself up for taking a break...at least you decided to get back on track before it was too late. I love your reward system. I think I will try doing that. I have not been very motivated lately and I think that will help me to get back into working out.

Yep, I have not worked out in like 4 weeks. Now that I have said that, I WILL be at the gym today. No excuses... I've used up most of those anyway. Main motivation is my husband's comment last week when I asked him to pick me up from work instead of me walking 4 blocks in heels - "Why do you have such a strong adversion to any physical activity lately?" What a jerk, but thanks for pissing me off.

ohhhhhh I hate the smell of those things! It is so difficult to avoid them when you smell them. Make a commitment to do better the next three days! That will absolve you of the calories. lol

Sad that this post follows another post from me. But I knew that I would falter along the way. I had a spell of emotional eating today. I was feeling anxious and slightly depressed. So I did not ignore the temptation of a cinnamon roll. It didn't even taste as good as I had imagined and of course the remorse has left a bad taste.

Done really well the with exercise since Sunday, but yesterday I had lunch at Subway. Not a bad choice for a place to eat, however, I did choose badly from the menu and went over my calories for the day.
