You are all so very very sweet!
Thank you so much for all the kind words, good wishes, and prayers, and congratulations for my children.
Exams are almost done, thank goodness!
Younger dd had her French oral exam this afternoon, and pronounced it well done. DS had his last exam (Geography) today. *phew* Older dd (the graduate) just has her provincial standards exam in math tomorrow, and they will be done, done, done!!
Then, it's just the final school trips and final Masses, and helping out in the uniform shop to fill all the orders for new and returning students.
MIL had a colonoscopy today. It was not good, she said, but it's over. She had to wait for about 26 hours before she could eat (she fasted from lunch Tuesday to about 5 pm Wednesday - the test was done at 4 pm). She begins the "big guns" medicine tomorrow to see if she improves at all. I hope she sleeps well tonight after her ordeal, and then the medicine helps her.
Thank you for all the prayers. She would be very touched to know of all these strangers (to her) praying for her and wishing her well!
She is really praying hard that she gets to attend the graduation (with a day pass or something). She would probably have to miss the Mass beforehand, but we can probably get her Communion right before the convocation (they're both in the church at the school).
The smallest good deed is better than the grandest intention.
Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.
