Yes... every step counts! I have walked more and more often, use my mini-trampoline and ride my bike. It is getting warm outside!

My goal for May is to take the bus whenever I can. This means walking more too.

I was defeated yesterday when my first of three buses to church was late and I had to get a ride directly there instead. Today will be different.

Every step counts!

exercise at least 20 minutes daily.

A better eye on portions

8 or more glasses of water daily

smile at someone when out and about (groc shopping, etc) that I do NOT know

continue strength training every other day and run/walk days...for a grand total loss of 3 pounds in May. Please pray for me as I step on that wretched scale tomorrow am after a wonderful vacation with my sweetheart (husband) of 23 years.We had a little too much fun in Morro Bay and I have to get on track ...

My goal is to lose 5lbs for May.

1. Continue my jogs at lunch time.
2. Try new DVD on Sparkpeople.
3. Get in at least 3,000 fitness points.
4. Due 500,000 steps

Thought I would set some personal goals for May 2011.

Add stretching and weight training into my days. Stretching every day, weights every other.

Each week make sure I have done something active with my family (at least 3X each week). A bike ride, a walk or even throwing a frisbee around.

Each week have at least one or more, truly hard, workouts.

Try a new fitness activity this month. Something out of the norm.
Play in a soccer game, go to a spinning class, maybe swimming. Just something new that I haven't done in a long time.

Complete 1500+ minutes of Fitness Activities (an average of 48.4 minutes per day)

Weigh in every Friday and see that the weight is at least one pound lower than the previous week.

What are your goals for this month?

Better to light one candle than to curse the darkness.
