Here are two of my favorites: Born Fundamentalist, Born Again Catholic by David B. Currie. Awesome conversion story. This book was instrumental in helping me back to the church!

Also, Lord Have Mercy by Scott Hahn (The Healing Power of Confession). Really, anything by Scott Hahn is excellent. The Lamb's Supper is all about the mass - an excellent book!

Good luck with your summer reading!

Sounds like a great read! And right up my alley, I think. Does anyone else have some Catholic reading suggestions? I'm going to have quite a bit of downtime at my job this summer and I think spiritual reading would be a great boost for the soul!

Thanks!

I wonder if our great Catholic bookstore would consider ordering it for me (if they don't have it already - I will have to ask them).

I really hope I can find this book in audio, and failing that, from Amazon Kindle for computer. BTW: audible.com has a bunch of Scott Hahn's books, some read by him. They have some other good Catholic stuff, and a bunch of junk. So, if you're looking for something good, read reviews and check them elsewhere.
Thanks for the heads up on this book, Kristy. :)

Leslie, Amazon.ca has it. Could take a couple of weeks to get it. It's not cheap but shipping is free.

I would love to read the book, but it's only available in the U.S. and I'm in Canada. It's very frustrating.

I just finished reading Rediscover Catholicism - A Spiritual Guide to Living With Passion & Purpose by Matthew Kelly.

I loved this inspiring and motivating book about finding our vocation in life and becoming the-best-version-of-ourselves. Part I: We Become What We Celebrate. Part II: The Authentic Life. Part III: The 7 Pillars of Catholic Spirituality. Part IV: Now Is Our Time.

Matthew Kelly is an internationally acclaimed speaker, best-selling author, and business consultant. To order a copy of this book (pay shipping only) visit
