What a wonderful tribute to our Holy Mother. What gets me is the lack of motivation to workout/the ease of passing on working out. The next time I have scheduled to workout and those thoughts creep up, I will say my Hail Mary and then proceed to honor her.
This sounds just wonderful! I will join you in this May journey! I would like to increase my devotion to the Blessed Mother and this will give me a nice way to bring her more deeply into my spirit and into my everyday moments...

May is traditionally the month of Mary. While trying to think of ways to honor our Heavenly Queen during this time, I decided that I'd try to use some of my efforts to health and fitness as a way of mortifying myself for her.
I'm really trying to cut out on those thoughtless little nibbles I have throughout the day... the little tastes that you don't track, but that add up all the same, and often sabotage your efforts. I'm going to try to turn this into a little service to offer up to Mary.
So instead of taking a little taste of that cookie that's lying around, or a couple pieces of the chocolate out on the table, I'm going to offer up the lack of them in honor of the Blessed Virgin, and say a Hail Mary instead.
Does anyone want to join me in making weight loss efforts this month spiritually beneficial as well, as a means of honoring our Blessed Mother?
