Carli, I definately think he is more worried about trying to get things done - and what history thinks, than about whether he will "win" a second term. I really do think he will run however. And I expect he will eventually move into "election" mode and we will see a little more of the campaigner.

The only problem with this is that he's made quite a few presumptions in categorizing the "keys" as true or false.

I've been wondering an entirely different thing ... do you think Obama will or wants to RUN for a second term? Sometimes I get the impression, or feeling, that 1) maybe he really doesn't like the job; and 2) that he's aiming for a precedent-setting and historical presidency over and above a 2-term one.

What do you all think?

And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular but because conscience tells one it is right. ~Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Very interesting.. But I don't get the one on the incumbant president is charismatic - as false. ??

Based on what? I think Obama is pretty charismatic for most people. And even the other side admits he can give a heck of a speech.
