Carli, I definately think he is more worried about trying to get things done - and what history thinks, than about whether he will "win" a second term. I really do think he will run however. And I expect he will eventually move into "election" mode and we will see a little more of the campaigner.
The only problem with this is that he's made quite a few presumptions in categorizing the "keys" as true or false.
I've been wondering an entirely different thing ... do you think Obama will or wants to RUN for a second term? Sometimes I get the impression, or feeling, that 1) maybe he really doesn't like the job; and 2) that he's aiming for a precedent-setting and historical presidency over and above a 2-term one.
What do you all think?
Cowardice asks the question, 'Is it safe?' Expediency asks the question, 'Is it politic?' But conscience asks the question, 'Is it right?' And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular but because conscience tells one it is right. ~Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
