Yes, the President is balancing so many things but what is most impressive is that he's not trying to govern from the middle to appease both the left and the right. No, he's governing style is rooted in principles and laws. Like he said long ago, he's not going to please everyone and that's okay by me. I'm just grateful he explains the issues, speaks to us as intelligent Americans, and makes decisions according to what we have agreed is right and legal. I'd vote for him all over again.

Thanks for the link. I read Obama's brilliant speech. He answered a lot of questions and even quoted Lindsey Graham in probably the only thing he and that man have in common. I hope he can get some more support in Congress & I certainly hope he keeps his word on the promises he made today. I know he's trying to balance a lot, and I know he's more conservative than I am. So I will continue to watch and HOPE.

As for Cheney --- I gave him a speed reading (will dig in later) and mostly saw him repeat his same old line of justifying all his actions to protect us. Really, he's just showing what a fearful human being he is.
