I rarely do challenges. It is hard for me to keep up with everything else, I don't need another stressor

Butafull I had that same problem but reset it. I can't remember now if it was on my spark page or my start page but there is a little spot that lets you check/set your time zone. If you find the Q & A's it's in there where to find it exactly, but if I find it I'll try to let you know.

ANN478 - I love that you hate exercising but can make yourself use a treadmill (which I call a dreadmill). I should have such discipline!

I have done about 5 challenges so far, I'm doing a 8week one right now for the Winter 5% challenge, I too have problems with double logging, because I'm on the west coast and the time changes to the next day when it's just 9 PM

I do not do Spark challanges. Personally I hate exercising, I stick to what I enjoy and what I am capable of maintaining - local aqua-size classes, walking, treadmill, Wii Fit Plus and stair climbing.

My problem is consistency so I pretty much only stick to what works for me which is usually walking in winter & swimming in summer plus st when I can work it in instead of trying new things that come along.

I'd love to do some sort of physical challenge. But this team especially has such varied members as far as age and abilities. It's touch to think of something that would work with everyone.

I like the month-long challenges as a way to establish new habits, but if it requires that I double track things (e.g. put in my cardio minutes on the fitness tracker and then enter it again on the team page) I will quickly peter out of posting even if I keep on with the activity.

I do team challenges rarely. I found most challenges involve losing weight or avoiding certain foods. I do neither. I also have a defined workout routine, so I find no need to do spot workouts that someone other chooses.

I would be interested in challenges that are motivational and avoid reprogramming my maintenance plan.

I am like Fang---the challenge has to suit my lifestyle and what I can do---and when on multiple teams, it is hard to do a bunch of separate ones----I don''t think every team has to have one if it does not suit---and you will never have total participation----so many of our numbers are not even active on Spark anymore.

Are you thinking of any particular kind of challenge? On the BLC team, I do exercise challenges. I've tried the challenges of 20-min of exercise a day without missing, and it is weird because I can be so faithful until I click on that button, then I end up skipping and throws me off. Must be a psychological thing or something. I do know I only lose weight if I faithfully track my food daily, which I have been off track of for some time.

I wasn't sure if you were thinking of a specific challenge related to gardening or projects in the house or what?

I've never really been one to do group challenges. But I know some people love them. We've done a few here, but I'm curious as to how many folks here participate in challenges on other teams? If it's something folks here are interested, we are more than willing to try to work more into the team.
